chapter 34

Author's POV

"Uh..." sehun woke by cracking his fingers he looked outside of the huge window with a beautiful view.

He looked at kai. The most first thing he saw this morning. Kai was sleeping peacefully spreading his arms. Sehun started at kai's half-naked body. 

He saw something like a tattoo on the side of his stomach. But ignored it.

"Now I know what feels like to sleep on a couch."

"Master, your clothes have been clean and dry I'll come and place them." a worker knocked. Sehun panicked he took his blanket and pillow and threw it under the bed.

He flopped beside kai, pulled over the blanket, and pretended to sleep. Kai felt someone in his arms in sleep. He turned sideways and hugged sehun.

Sehun was stunned for a moment. The worker entered the room. Sehun rested himself in kai's arms. The most comfortable place ever to exist for sehun.

"You understood the assignment," Kai whispered to sehun in sleep. Sehun sighed harder. As soon as the worker was out of the room. Sehun woke up but he couldn't.

"Sleep," Kai mumbled in his deep voice. Sehun felt like he stopped breathing he rested himself slowly and in no time he fall asleep. Kai cuddled with him which sehun did not resort to.

"Sehun... Sehun-ah... Sehun.." a sweet voice reached sehun. He opened his eyes slowly, blurted out things, and figured out who the sweet voice was.

"WHAT THE FUCK- I mean what are- you're here?" sehun was shocked to death to see someone familiar. "Oh hey good morning?"

"Mrs. Yoora?!" sehun was still shocked. "I came to see you guys." Yoora smiled.

"He-hello.." sehun half bowed. "Come on wake up it's 10 in the morning. Fresh up I'll wait for you here." yoora took a place on the couch.

"Ah? Uh. Yeah okay.." sehun was dumbfounded, confused, scared, and whatnot. He quickly got ready and got all dressed up.

"You've still not unpacked your things, I see.." yoora looked at the bags. "Oh. Yeah, I just moved in yesterday that's why.." sehun stuttered and looked at kai who was sleeping peacefully.

"What? Yesterday? I told kai to do it weeks before.." yoora sighed. "You told...?" sehun was dumbfounded.

"Yeah I told him to ask you to move in." yoora smiled. "So you told him, means he never wanted me to move in..?" sehun was bothered by this question.

"Come come to make some breakfast for me.." yoora dragged sehun out. "But kai..." sehun tried to wake kai up to tell him that his mom is here so he should act.

"What would you like to eat?" sehun asked while yoora was sitting on the sofa. "Yeah, are you a worker? Sit and ask." Yoora pulled sehun to sit.

"Don't be so polite I'm gonna be your mother..?" yoora chuckled. Sehun smiled sheepishly. "What do you want to eat mom?" sehun said even though he was unsure of the word 'mom'.

"Whatever his fridge has?" yoora chuckled followed by sehun. Sehun was tensed yet managed to make some pancakes. He was tensed for kai not knowing his mom his there.

What if he messed up?

He was still making some more breakfast. "Mom should I wake up kai and come?" sehun was ready to run. "No he'll wake up on his own you make breakfast, I'm waiting." yoora smiled.

"Oh... Okay." sehun sighed. He went back to making breakfast. He was busy. Kai woke up suddenly and as he didn't see sehun besides him of course he panicked. He went down, he didn't give attention anywhere but the kitchen as he smelled something delicious.

He grinned at sehun making breakfast for him. Sehun was still unaware, kai almost back hugged him. "Making breakfast for me?" kai whispered in sehun ears, giving sehun a shiver. "No for mom." sehun was panicking inside.

"Mom is coming?" kai asked. "Mom here already, you sleepy brat!" yoora picked his ears. "Ahhhh Mom when did you get here?!!!" kai was shocked.

"When you both sleeping and cuddling each other." yoora teased. "Mom you should call and come next time, we need some privacy." kai looked at sehun. Sehun avoided eye contact.

"Breakfast is ready." sehun said. "Come come sit." yoora dragged kai to sit. "Let me help him." kai said. "He can do it alone, you come I need to talk to you." yoora dragged.

Till sehun could serve breakfast the mood of kai changed instantly as yoora said something to him. The whole aura there was something.

"Here." sehun served some breakfast to yoora and kai. "I don't appetite." kai said. Sehun sighed he made so many things just for them and now.

"Kai..." sehun looked at him with puppy eyes. "Okay... I'll eat." kai started eating so does yoora. Yoora chuckled.

"Kai are you sure?" yoora asked him once again. "Mom my answer was and is and always be the same. No one can change it." kai sighed harder. Sehun could feel the tension between mother and son.

"If that's what you want." yoora was mad and got and walked away. "Mom.." sehun called her. "Bye sehun-ah, we'll talk later." yoora gave him weak smile and walked out of the house.

"Why didn't you tell me mom was here?" kai was mad too. "Ah. You were sleeping so.." sehun said.

"Still you should've woke me up." kai banged his hand on the table, looking away. "She didn't let me wake you up.." sehun sighed. "I'm sorry.." kai sighed. "Why suddenly?" sehun was stunned.

"I was just anxious and I got mad at you." kai sighed softly. "It's okay... Can I ask you what happened?" sehun asked out of concern. "Dad is coming next month to Korea, she wants me to patch things up with him." kai sighed.

"So why don't you patch things up?" sehun asked. "Its not simple sehun." kai said. "But it's not complicated either kai, you should fix things when you still have time. It shouldn't end with something that you'll regret later." sehun caressed kai's hand. Kai smiled at him.

"Okay my baby boy." kai teased. "Fuck you." sehun rolled his eyes and went to the kitchen. Kai chuckled and went into his room to freshen up.

Sehun went to his room to grab his phone he was about to open the door he heard kai talking to someone. "Yes baby I'll come as soon as I get time okay?" kai talked over the phone.

Sehun was curious about who he was talking to and jealous but won't admit it. It had happened before too he saw kai talking to someone secretly but he didn't ask him anything.

He knocked on the door to let kai know and came in. "I just came to grab my phone." sehun was freaking out he hurriedly took his phone and rushed out. "Weird." kai shrugged.

Kai went down as he was ready, today he has to go to the company. He saw sehun sitting on a sofa, deep in thoughts.

"What are you thinking?!" kai asked. "Oh. Ah? Nothing. We have to go anywhere should I get dressed up?!" sehun asked. "No no you stay at home and make yourself comfortable I'll go-to company." kai tapped on sehun shoulder.

"Okay.." sehun sighed. "I'll get going. Bye!" kai yelled as he went out. "Yeah bye." sehun said. He was exhausted he need a good rest right now.
