Author's POV

"KAI."

kai turned around to see sehun. He saw a truck coming his way and what important was sehun was running towards him.

Sehun sprinted and pushed kai out of the way, he closed his eyes tightly. "SEHUN!" kai stood up and ran towards sehun

A crashing sound was heard. Kai in no time hugged sehun. Sehun exhaled and went a few steps back. Kai hugged him tightly. Sehun fainted as he was scared to death. Kai saw what the hell happened.

He turned around and saw a car crash the truck. He saw the driver of the car coming out. "Fa-father?"

"Luhan get the car ready fast!" right now sehun was more important for him. Luhan drifted the car right in front of kai. Kai put sehun inside and got in. He looked at his dad with grateful eyes. Before luhan could start the car, Jong-un came running and sat in the passenger seat.

"Cancel today's dinner something important has come up." yoora ordered and got in her car following them.

"Big Master." luhan bowed his voice was trembling after seeing him, it's been years. "Drive fast," Jong-un said. Luhan nodded and speed up the car.

"Fath- Dad?" kai said in a little, while sehun was resting on his lap. "You love him so much?" Jong-un smiled. "I am sorry." kai was trembling. "Kai, I told you I never blamed you." Jong-un sighed. "I am sorry... Now I know what happened that day and why you were not able to protect Mother." kai looked at sehun.

"You forgive me it's the most important thing right now, do you?" Jong-un asked. "You never did anything to forgive you, it was me who did wrong judgment." kai exhaled. "Kai... Let's try to forget everything that happened that day?" Jong-un said. Kai was still caressing sehun.

"Kai...." sehun woke up with a weak voice. "Sehun are you okay?" kai made him sit. "Kai are you okay? Nothing happened right?" sehun was still panicking even though he was unconscious. "Sehun..." kai hugged him.

"Kai let's go home..." sehun said in a weak voice. "Okay yeah let's go home." kai said to sehun but of course luhan understood it.

They were at home.

"Sehun..." Kai called, kept holding his hand as sehun was sleeping peacefully. Sehun's sleep broke, and he opened him slowly. The first he saw was kai sitting beside him. He sighed with relief, he was safe.

"Kai... You're okay right?" sehun tried to sit. "Sehun I am fine, let's not talk about that. Here take this medicine." kai gave him a few pieces of medicine, and sehun took them without any argument.

"What happened? Why am I suddenly here?" sehun looked around. "You almost ran into the accident to save me." kai closed up their distance. "You're okay, right?" sehun held kai's face. "Yeah... Look at me, I am fine." kai smiled. "I was so scared." sehun hugged him tightly. He mumbled in kai's arms.

"It's okay. See I am fine, you're fine." kai caressed his back. "I thought I might lose you." sehun pulled out. "So you jumped in front of the vehicle to save me?" kai asked. "Kai. I didn't know what to do I was scared at that time. I did what felt right." sehun crumbled kai's shirt.

"Shh... Calm down. Look at me, if anything happens like this in the future, save yourself first. Understood?" kai said. "If I was in your place you would've done it the same." sehun said. "We are talking about you. If anything happens like this Save yourself." kai held his hand tightly.

"Kai..." sehun was unsure. "Promise me?" kai was stubborn. "Okay..." sehun sighed there's no way he could an argument against kai.

"Where's your Dad?" sehun was feeling much better. "They are downstairs." kai said. "They? What do you mean by they?" sehun was dumbfounded. "They mean, Dad, Mom, twins, and their partner." kai was confused. "What?!" sehun yelled.

"Yeah... What happened?" kai asked. "Why are you here?" sehun whined. "Why? What happened? You don't want them here? I will tell them to leave-" kai was about to go out. "No that's not what I am saying. They all must be concerned for me, I just fainted." sehun sighed.

"They care about you that's why." kai smiled. "What about today's dinner?" sehun asked. "It got canceled, how we are supposed to have dinner while you're not well?" Kai shrugged. "Uhhh..." sehun whined again. "What's happening? Why are whining again?" kai was dumbfounded.

"Because of me your dinner got canceled, with this show I am gonna impress your family..." sehun mumbled. "What? What did you just say?" of course kai heard it. "Nothing..." sehun cleared his throat.

Kai chuckled. "Idiot, come here." he pulled sehun closer. "You didn't do anything wrong, you motherfucking saved my life. You have impressed our ancestors too." kai chuckled. "Kai..." sehun rolled his eyes over shyness. "Now, don't worry and come down with me." kai pecked a kiss on sehun's head. Sehun smiled.

They walked down the stairs, kai didn't let go of sehun's hand. "Let go." sehun whispered and pulled out his hand. Kai chuckled. "Where's that bold sehun now?" kai scoffed. "Shh.." shushed him.

"Sehun-ah you're here? Are you okay?" yoora ran up to sehun. "I am fine Mom." sehun smiled. "I'm glad you're okay, come sit." Jong-un suddenly said. Sehun and Kai went up to them and sat. "Mom where's the twins and their partners?" kai asked.

"It was getting late so I sent them." yoora said. Kai nodded. Sehun was tapping his leg out of anxiety. "Thank you," Jong-un said suddenly. "Ah?" sehun was dumbfounded. "Thank you, you saved my son's life." Jong-un smiled.

"Yeah? Yeah welcome." sehun still can't believe it. Kai smiled at him. "Thank you because of you we got our things patched," Jong-un said. Sehun nodded yet he was unsure.

"First time in a while kai talked with me as my son." Jong-un adored his son. "Dad what about...?" kai asked something. "Yeah. About chanie right?" Jong-un said. "Chanie? Who's chanie?" yoora was confused.

"It's..." Jong-un was about to say but then he saw kai gesturing him something. "Kai and sehun want to adopt a child." Jong-un said with a twist. "Really?!!" yoora yelled in happiness. "Yeah.." sehun says softly.

"Wah... I'm finally gonna be a grandmother." yoora giggled. "Are you okay with that?" kai asked his dad while his mom and sehun were busy celebrating the joy.

"Kai whatever happened in past between you and Ravi only you know. If you still happen to keep him I won't make a judgment. But the moment Ravi knows it's his child he will do everything to take him back, you know that right?" Jong-un and kai talked slowly.

"I know but I can't give away the child to someone irresponsible like Ravi." kai sighed. "Don't worry, if anything happens just call me." Jong-un smirked. Kai nodded.

"I'll make dinner." sehun said and went into the kitchen. "I'll help you." yoora followed him.

"Are you staying here long?" kai asked. "Before I didn't have reason to stay now, I guess I have reason to stay." Jong-un chuckled. Kai grinned, the family he always wanted, the family sehun always wanted.

Sehun and kai made eye contact. They were happy, so happy.
