Author's POV

All helped less. It was so tense situation. Ravi and sehun both were in operation theaters.

Kai was so serious ever in his life. His eyes were all red and his hands shaking. Breathe was getting heavier. The fear of losing someone was once again scaring him. Once again his life was at stake.

He was once again in this hospital once again he was waiting for the ones to come out and say hi to him. Once again he was afraid.

Lay and tao came running towards him. They held his hands tightly. They told him to stay strong and that everything is gonna be fine. But kai knew it was all fake he knew not everything is gonna be fine.

The doctor came out of the operation theater. Kai stood up immediately he asked straight up about sehun. The doctor said he can't say anything for sure now, he is still under surgery with a different doctor in the same operation ward.

Kai asked about Ravi. The doctor said he has no explanation for it he is still under surgery. Kai was all devastated. He was feeling so weak. He went back helplessly and sat down. It is all because of him. He blamed himself for everything. Joon came with luhan. "Master." luhan said. Kai wasn't in the mood to talk to anybody. Joon and luhan sighed.

His mom and dad came running to him. "Kai." yoora embraced him. Kai finally cried in his mom's arms. His dad patted his back and said everything is gonna be fine. Even he was teary.

Doctors and nurses were trying their best.

While surgery sehun was about to lose his senses. The doctor yelled at the nurse about his blood donations. Due to heavy blood loss and having a rare blood group doctors were having a hard time finding the blood.

Ravi called out to the doctor as he was a bit stable. He said he have the same blood group as sehun and was ready to donate it.

Doctors explained to him that he might get himself in trouble by donating the blood while he's already half dying. Ravi said he doesn't care. Doctors still asked him twice about his decisions.

Doctors warned him that he might lose his life. Ravi said he is gonna die anyway his blood will be of no use.

But he asked doctors to do him a favor. He asked them not to tell anyone that he donated the blood for him. It should be secret as hospital policies. Doctors agreed to it.

The operations were done finally after five hours. Both were shifted from operation theaters. Doctors came out removing their masks and gloves.

Kai immediately got up and asked for sehun. Doctors sighed they said they have bad news. Kai's eyes were getting watery. Doctors said they were able to save one but the other one is still serious and probably doesn't have a chance to live longer.

Kai's tears rolled down his face. The most vulnerable kai ever anyone has seen. Kai asked with his shaking voice "Can I meet him?" the doctors sighed and let him meet the one who is breathing his last breath.

Kai entered the ward carefully. He was afraid. He was trying his best not to break down. He knew he was gonna lose one of them but he was not ready to face it. He got closer to the bed and saw the figure lying there.

The tears rolled down his face he clenched his teeth to stop himself from crying aloud.

He sat beside the bed and held his hands. "Wake my boy." he tried to look normal. "I'm awake kai." a shaking voice sounded. Kai kissed the hand that he held. "You have to talk to me, Ravi."

"Kai, luhan told me what happened that day. I hope I believed you. I'm so stupid as you always said. I didn't believe my best friend. I didn't believe whom I thought of as my real brother. Ain't I stupid? Haha.."

"Yes, you are! Stupid." kai chuckled in pain.

"Kai, sometimes I miss those days when we were young. We did a lot of things together. I miss them. But I hate you because you were right and I hate myself because I didn't believe you."

"No."

"You know why I hate myself because even when I came to know the truth I still didn't believe it. I couldn't believe that the one I loved so much would intend to kill me. I just couldn't."

"It's okay It was not your fault."

"No, it was my fault. I was being selfish. But you know what? I'm so proud that once my best friend saved my life and I'm so disappointed in myself, because of my selfishness he had to kill me. I'm stupid."

"No it was never your fault and no one has killed you you're still alive and going to be alive for a long time. Don't you wanna be the godfather of my child? We have yet to do so many things together. Okay?"

"Kai I am ashamed to even see your child, I even tried to kill him! How can you expect me to be his godfather?"

"That doesn't matter right now. I know if you tried you would've killed him long ago. Come on we have to go shopping. You're godfather of my child don't you wanna spend your money. Huh? You know what is next week right? It's mom's death anniversary. She misses you so much. You haven't visited here since when. Let's go and visit her? Ah?"

"Kai, I'll visit her later. Kai? You looked so stressed right now why don't you rest a bit ah? Go rest. I'm also tired I need to sleep. Then I'll visit mom later, okay? Will go and rest? Sehun needs you too. Kai, I'm always sorry for what happened, go to sehun. Go, I need some sleep. You know I hate it when someone sees me while I'm sleeping right? Kai cried like crazy. He never let go of his hands. He held onto me so tightly.

"Ravi I love you too!"

Sehun entered the ward carefully. He called out for kai. Kai looked up to him with eyes full of happiness.

He ran towards sehun and hugged him so tight. "Sehun! I'm so glad that you're fine." Kai sobbed in sehun's arms.

"It's okay kai I'm fine." sehun pulled him out. "Sehun looks at Ravi he is still a betrayal. He said he'll come and visit mom with me and he's sleeping. You know one thing sehun? It's really hard to wake up Ravi like really hard! But I got some tricks. Let me show you." kai said.

"WAKE UP DAD CAME!!!" kai yelled in ravi's ears. "Ah? Why isn't he still waking up? Look sehun he isn't walking up, you traitor wake up my child is out there waiting for you. Your child is out there waiting for you. You were gonna buy stuff for him. Sehun we just agreed he was going to buy stuff for our child. Sehun Why isn't he waking up?!!"

"Kai kai shhhh... Come here it's okay...shhh. Don't cry..."

Sehun pulled kai in for a hug and caressed his back and head. Sehun was so emotional by seeing kai so devastated he cried himself.

"Sehun why isn't he waking up? We agreed to go places we decided to now he's hanging up on them. He's a traitor. He betrayed me sehun..." kai cried his eyes out.

"Shhhh kai look at me. He's gone, okay? You must let him go. Don't hold him back. His soul may find it hard to go, right? From now on he'll be starting a new life up there he'll be gonna start over again you should too. He's gonna live without guilt and grudges. You should set him free he needs to go and don't worry mom will teach him a good lesson up there. Now stop crying like a baby. You need to say goodbye to him happily you should wish him a good life in his next birth, okay? He needs your wishes the most and I bet he won't want you to cry like this. Come on don't be like this. Say him goodbye with your heart."
