Author POV

Sehun turned as he heard a voice reaching out for him. Kai sighed and walked up to him. He reached for the hands of sehun. Sehun pulled off and fold his hands. Kai sighed harder.

"Sehun, look." kai tried to make up the words.

"What?" sehun rolled his eyes.

"I'm sorry." kai in confusion.

"For what?" sehun asked.

"For... What happened today...maybe?" kai shrugged.

"Why?"

"Because... What happened may have upset you?"

"Why do you think it may have upset me? Why do you even care about it?"

"I don't want you to get upset because of me."

Sehun sighed. "Why? That's what I'm asking?"

Kai walked up to him. "Because... You're important."

Sehun looked away, avoiding eye contact.

"Sehun, look what he said was just a mere joke. He thinks that we're dating in real life. He was joking around." kai tried to hold sehun's hand

"Idiot mark." kai mumbled.

"Kai? It's okay. I'm okay." sehun let him hold his hands.

"Sure?"

Sehun sighed. "What should I do to make sure that I'm okay?"

"Um... Make me food uh... I mesm make food for me." kai smirked. "Sure, Mr. Kim Kai." sehun slightly flick kai's hair.

Kai smiled and opened the car door for sehun. Sehun cooked some delicious food for kai. Kai likes a kid in a candy store dig in. Sehun chuckled. Suddenly a phone rang.

It was kai's. He was too busy eating he slipped it to sehun and told him to put it on speaker. It was luhan as usual.

"Master." luhan spoke. "Yes go on, he's eating." sehun said as kai gestured to him. "Oh. Oh okay." luhan hesitated.

"Master, I'm sorry I didn't update you yesterday, I was not allowed." luhan's voice was trembling. Kai gestured to sehun. "What happened?" sehun understood and asked luhan.

"Tomorrow you have a dinner meeting with...... Mrs. Kim." luhan said carefully. Kai choked on food and mumbled something. "Fuck!" sehun translated it.

"What? When did she come back?" kai asked. "Yesterday, she came to pick up the mark and go back to Japan. But she intended to meet you and go." luhan stated. "Ugh... Okay, I'll come to message me venue later." kai gulped the water down.

"But Master, she also said that...." luhan was afraid to make his master more panic. Kai again gestured. "What now?" sehun translated it.

"She said, to bring his son-in-law with you." luhan said carefully. "What the fuck?" kai said.

"Yeah, what the fuck?" sehun yelled. Kai looked at him in confusion. "It's from me."

Kai nodded understandingly." Yea-yeah. She specially asked for Mr. Sehun to join the family dinner with her." luhan said. "I'll pass." sehun nodded in disagreement.

"No you can't." kai held sehun hand, having hope in his eyes. "What do you mean? I'm just dating you and that's too fake come on." sehun denied.

"Mr. Sehun please if you don't help and Mrs. Kim knows the next moment she'll set someone up with Master." luhan tried to convince sehun.

On thought kai being set up with someone else kind of bothered sehun. He took a while to think about it.

"Sehun just this time. You know my mom already you'll be comfortable and if you don't feel comfortable I'll take care of you." kai held sehun's hand tighter.

"Kai you-" sehun was interrupted. "Only kai. We're dating, right? Get used to calling me kai, okay?" kai smirked.

"Kai, okay? Now, what do I have to do?" sehun questioned. Luhan answered him how he have to act.

Sehun nodded and took a deep breath. He didn't know if he can do it but looking at kai made him do anything for him.

Author POV

Sehun was filled with anxiety. She was so anxious right now. He is going to meet his mother-in-law in a way.

Damn it, how the hell did I got stuck in this all matter?! It so....so...so...ugh I don't know. Keep your cool. You can do it. We still have a whole night right?

Sehun jumped and walked around his room. He thought kai was already sleeping. Suddenly kai entered the room and saw sehun walking around the room.

He leaned sideways and observed sehun. He sighed and walked up to him. "Sehun?" kai stood in front of him.

"Oh, mother-" sehun startled and flopped on his bed. "What are you even doing? You scared me idiot." sehun threw a pillow on kai, apparently he caught it.

"I heard someone walking while stomping his foot I knew it was you so I came to check." kai flopped on the bed. "Wow... It's soft." kai stumbled onto the bed.

Sehun still gave no reaction and held a pillow like a kid. Kai noticed it. "Sehun what happened? Tell me?" kai was concerned. But sehun was zoned out.

Kai tapped his cheeks "Um? Nothing." sehun zoned in. "Are you sure?" kai asked. "Yeah." sehun gave a weak smile.

"No, you're not. Tell me what happened?" kai got closer. "Kai? I'm just worried about tomorrow's dinner. What if I fucked up?" sehun bit his nails.

"Ay." kai slightly hit his hand. "You'll not, okay? I'll there with you all the time. You don't have to do anything. Just-" kai got interrupted.

"Just don't stop you from doing anything, right?" sehun completed his sentence with a smirk. "That's my baby boy." kai ruffled his hair. Sehun stared at him.

"Okay okay, my bad. I'll go and sleep you do the same. We have a lot coming tomorrow." kai put his hands up, stumbling into walls, and walked out the room. Leaving sehun chuckling, finally having internal peace and good sleep.

Sehun POV

Hey there! Here I am at the stake of my life where I'm finally going to meet my fake boyfriend's mom. So maybe I'm just destined to not have a single serious relationship?

Even if I'm dating it's still fake. I hate this. Every time they just want to use me for solving their matters. I feel like a dustbin sometimes. Use and go, don't give a fuck. Why? Why do have to always sacrifice me?

Ugh anyways I don't have time to get emotional and all, gotta prepare breakfast for his highness. First I gotta choose an outfit to wear at dinner. Maybe this shirt or this? No this um... Wait I'll kai later what to dress like. After all, I have to impress his mother and hi- ahem

Sehun noticed that kai's sleep broke. He asked kai to freshen up and had breakfast. "Sehun don't worry about today I'll take care of it, okay?" kai said as he was about to leave.

Sehun nodded. "Don't go to the cafe today I'll tell luhan to handle it. Stay at home, I'll come by evening and we'll go together, okay?" kai ruffled his hair.

Sehun grinned. "Okay come early I still have to choose an outfit for today." Kai nodded and got in the car. Sehun waved as the car took off and got back.

Just a Dinner. I can do it!
