Recap:

 I walked into the my pack house. Went to top floor and James was in our room crying. I ran over to him and he looked at me his eyes were blood shot and then he looked at me. 

What he said, shocked me to the core. The 5 words he said. 

"We can't be together Alex"....

Chapter 18: 

Alexander's pov. 

"We can't be together Alex" James said. 

"WHHAAATTT" I said. 

I ran up to him and said, "I am so sorry, James is it because I am weak and that I wont be a good mate to you. Please James don't reject me please." I said while trying not to cry

My feet couldnt hold me up and I collapsed on the floor. 

James didn't say anything until what I said, finally sunk in. 

He was up in front of me holding my hands. 

"Alex you listen to me right now, don't ever say that I love you whether your weak or strong." "I am not reject you. I am not allowed to be with you." He said, while tear started to slip from his eyes. 

He pulled me into a hug and embraced into his chest for a tight hug. He was crying on his shoulder and but he doesnt want to reject me but he cant be with me. 

I gave him a couple of mintues when we both calmed down. I looked at him, and said, "James can you explain to me what you mean. "

He took a deep breath and then he picked me up and placed me on the bed. He sat across from me. I watched him look at me then he grabbed my hands. 

"Alex listen to me carefully and fully untill I finish telling you everything." He said. 

I couldnt trust my voice right now so I just nodded at him and waited patiently for him to start. 

James is talking 

"Well you know that the elder's said how we have to train you old pack. But we got into an argument and left them. Well then Carlo went to the elder and apologized for rejecting you. That it was his mistake.

Then he said that our pack was blackmailing you into coming with us. That if you dont stay with him then your pack will get killed by our pack. Some other lies he told the elders. 

You being his orginal mate he is the one the elders want you to be with because your cubs will be stronger. But I told her how I wanted to be with you and that you deserve someone who will protect you. 

When I told her your my mate, she didnt like that and said I was lying because one wolf will only ever have one mate. 

I am sorry Alex but then Carlos went to the elder and told them that we didnt train them and that they need a place to live. 

They told them that he wants to live near you and so they were place them here. Today at midnight after the full moon bonfire I cant be with you and you have to go to Carlos. 

I have to mate with Tiffany. Since I am the prince I need to find the Princess soon. Because when Jayden steps I need someone to help take over with me. 

I want you to beside me but the elders dont want me to with you.

James is finished speaking. 

Back to Alex  pov. 

" James I dont want to leave you. If I have to mate with him then I will rather die than be someone that I hate. With all of my heart." I said.
