Today would not be a good day. Haruki could tell from the moment she woke up, when she felt misfortune swirling inside of her stomach. She's always had a good gut instinct, and it saved her more times than it should. So even as she stood outside the Eishu Juvenile Detention Center with her classmates and Kiyotaka Ijichi, Haruki wanted to abandon the mission.
The dreary atmosphere was also a sign if anything.
"At present, five detainees are still inside with the cursed womb. If the cursed womb is the type that metamorphoses, we predict that it'll become a special grade cursed spirit."
'Special grade?' Haruki narrowed her eyes, 'What the hell makes them think we can handle a special grade?'
"Hey," Itadori grabbed their attention, "I still don't really understand what this 'special grade' means."
Sighs escaped Fushiguro and Kugisaki's lips before Ijichi took it upon himself to explain. He described the power each of grade using comparisons for the Itadori. Surprised at the difference, his lips made an 'o' shape.

Fushiguro commented, "Normally, a jujutsu sorcerer will be assigned a mission to a curse of similar grade. For example, Gojo-sensei would've been called in today, but he went away on a business trip, so he's not here. Someone of his grade shouldn't be loitering around the school in the first place."
"Unfortunately in this business, you'll often have to undertake missions beyond your expertise. However, this current case is an extraordinary emergency," Ijichi reminded them.
Deciding that this was a good time, Haruki stepped up. She asked, "If we, hypothetically, wanted to abandon this mission until someone stronger like Gojo can take it, could we?"
The other first years glanced at her, "Hm?"
"When someone says something 'hypothetically', they usually mean it in all seriousness." Ijichi pushed up his square-shaped glasses, "You don't want to take this mission."
