the four students walked down a set of stairs that was covered by a door on the ground. it was familiar to the pink-haired boy, he did spend hours here after all.

as for haruki, she didn't recognize the basement at all. but inside she could see two female figures. like it was on halloween, tsumuko seemed the same. maki... well her appearance changed drastically.

maki now had burn marks on most of her body that was visible, wearing a new uniform and pair of glasses, and her dark green hair that was usually up in a ponytail was now short.

"and she lives," haruki airily chuckled in an attempt to not make the mood any worse than it needs to be.

"yeah, i do thanks to you. shoko said that if you hadn't blown out my fire in time, then i would've been dead. so thanks," maki spoke with haruki.

"oh," itadori saw a waving tsumuko on the couch, "hello."

okkotsu approached his friend, "maki! is it okay for you to be moving around?"

"yeah, no problem."

tsumuko butted in as she crossed her fingers, "it can't be helped with burn scars. even reverse cursed technique leaves a mark. i'd expect nothing less from someone who's gifted with heavenly restriction."

"i wasn't going for it," maki turned past okkotsu and to fushiguro, "megumi, what about master tengen's barrier?"

choso cut the first year off while placing a hand on his shoulder, "i'll explain. between the doors and the tomb lies the warehouse where jujutsu high stores cursed objects and tools." choso stated, "it holds the remains of my younger brothers. noranso, sho-oso, sanso, tanso, kotsuso, and shoso."
