"I think this year has been good to Megumi."

The hospital room was cold, Amaya noticed. After Ijichi told her about the other curse placed upon her sister, she rushed to the familiar hospital room. The cursed spirit showed itself to its victims, so how could a girl who'd been asleep for over a year see it coming?

Amaya sat by Tsumiki's hospital bed with a faint smile on her face. Her hands, however, held her katana tight and were ready to exorcise any cursed spirit that may enter the room.

"He's made friends with Itadori-kun and Kugisaki-chan, and they all seem to have fun. Just 3 days ago, I found them playing a board game. While Kugisaki-chan was bickering with Itadori-kun, Megumi had this small smile on his face as if he was enjoying the scene, and you know him. It caught me off-guard because he'd normally just roll his eyes and tell them to stop."

Amaya reached her arm out and rubbed the mark on Tsumiki's forehead with her thumb. For so long she had been cursed to a slumber, and nobody knew when she'd wake up.
Then there was the fear of Tsumiki never waking up at all, or the girl awakening when Amaya was no longer there. Such thoughts plagued the brown-haired girl's consciousness.

"I just hope that one day, you get to meet them yourself. So please, wake up soon, my dear sister. I really miss you."

Megumi Fushiguro had many regrets. The one that stood first in line, the one that tormented his mind from time to time, was not being able to keep Tsumiki safe. No, it wasn't his fault that she fell into a cursed coma, yet he felt like he didn't do enough to prevent it. And if he had known it would happen, he also wouldn't have been such a brat back then.

So when he learned that the cursed spirit threatened his sister's life, he was sure that he had to exorcise it. As dangerous as the mission was, he wouldn't let it go until Tsumiki was safe from the threat.

Megumi made his way to Yasohschi Bridge, carefully walking underneath it. His gaze moved to the moon for a brief moment because the next, his wide eyes stared at the blade held to his neck. The familiar, cloudy weapon took him by complete surprise.

"If I was a threat, you could've been dead," Haruki let Megumi go. He turned around to see her accompanied by Itadori and Kugisaki. "Don't let it get to your head, Megumi. It'll get you killed before you can even do anything."

"For real, if you didn't notice us now, then you're seriously lost in space," Kugisaki crossed her arms. "You also really don't tell us two enough about yourself."

"Sure don't," Itadori mirrored her stance.

Megumi sighed while Haruki continued, "We're a team now, so we're in this together whether you like it or not. If you want to save Tsumiki, then let's do exactly that."
