This is a place where I don't feel alone
This is a place where I feel at home
'Cause, I built a home
For you
For me

Taehyung opened his eyes, blinking for a few seconds in order to adjust them to the sudden brightness. He raised his arm, covering his view with it, a smile appearing on his lips once he noticed the bracelet on his hand.

"Are you up, love?"

For a second, Taehyung thought he was dreaming but, once he looked up and was met with the sight of his astonishing mate, he realized he wasn't. It was all real, they were finally together.

Getting up from his spot on Jeongguk's lap, Taehyung turned towards the other, staring at him for a few seconds. His mate simply smiled, his fingers tightening around Taehyung's and brining his hand up, his lips pressing themselves on Taehyung's knuckles.

"What's wrong, pup?" Jeongguk asked, his voice as soothing as ever but now it was finally calm, serene, no longer angered and in pain.

With a smile on his face, Taehyung shook his head. "Nothing. I'm just so happy we can finally be together."

Jeongguk smiled at that, leaning in until their lips clashed in a soft kiss, their bodies moving so that Taehyung was now leaning on the field of flowers with Jeongguk towering over him.

When they broke apart, their eyes meeting once again, Taehyung saw a glittering crimson light in Jeongguk's eyes.

"Guess they're finally happy too." He mumbled, knowing that their spirit wolves were no longer separate deities but parts of them instead. "They're finally together and at peace."

Jeongguk's smile grew even larger at that as he leaned in and nuzzled his nose into Taehyung's neck, scenting his mate and showering his skin with kisses.

"Just like us." He mumbled, his lips pressing open mouthed kisses on Taehyung's skin and making the other squirm on the ground.

Their moment was broken when they heard a loud howl, Jeongguk's head shooting up immediately. He glanced down at his flushed mate then back towards the forest, towards the call directed at them.

"Guess we'll have to wait a few more days, huh?" Taehyung asked, a shy smile appearing on his lips as Jeongguk moved away from his body and retrieved his shirt from the ground.

"We have eternity, my love." His voice echoed but Taehyung could tell it was mostly his wolf taking, letting him and his omega know that now — since they've found each other — they weren't going to get lost again.

As he watched Jeongguk dress himself, Taehyung's eyes fell on the tattoos on his arm and he finally realized that he still didn't know their meaning. He thought that they were war markings but as he took a closer look he realized they were not.

Furrowing his brows, Taehyung leaned closer to his mate and gently caressed his arm.

"You can read them too, don't you?" Jeongguk asked after a few seconds of analyzing Taehyung's focused gaze.

"I can but I couldn't understand them before. What happened?"

He looked up, meeting eyes with Jeongguk, and got the answer the moment his mate's eyes flashed red.

"It was their language. The words on my arm have been used as a legacy for The Primeval's vessels through the years but no one actually knew what they meant." Jeongguk stopped, eyes gazing down at the words for a few seconds. "I couldn't read them until a few days ago either. I was able to understand them only after he merged with me."
