'Why wont you touch me?'

Zoe's POV

I didn't think I would be back to this. Back to being in a car with Michael. I thought we was over for good. We never contacted each other or not that I know of because I bought a new phone and I didn't forward my numbers to anyone.

We pulled up at a small restaurant that we used to go to every Thursday night only because it was cheaper on Thursday. The restaurant was very expensive on any other day and today was a Saturday so they make their prices way more expensive because people will come in after work or on a date.

The car journey was awkward but it was his idea so he can deal with it.

We walked in and sat down at the round table in the corner of the room.

"So...How have you been?" I asked him while fiddling with my fingers.

"Usual...Trying to stay out of view of the police" He shrugged "You?" He asked.

"I didn't get into my dream job so now I work in a music store and i'm basically a pet rabbit to my boyfriend" I sighed.

"Pet rabbit?" He laughed.

"Well...Whenever he's making dinner he cooks dinner he get's meat and I get salad...When we go out for dinner I pay and he's always late...My friends think he's a huge loser because he's dumb and failed school even though he studied every night...My friends don't think he'll get anywhere in the future" I bit onto my lip.

"You sound unhappy with him?" Michael said and rubbed my hand.

"No...I'm happy! I just...We have our moments....We don't really do much together at home" I have no idea why i'm saying all this. Maybe we can be friends.

"So little virgin boy is a bit of an ass?" Michael laughed after putting down the menu.

"How did you know he was a virgin?" I asked.

"Oh seriously? It's so easy to tell! I bet he doesn't even kiss you properly" He rolled his eyes.

"He gives me small pecks but that's as far as its gone" I shrugged. I don't really care to be honest. He treats me alright so that's enough.

Michael just shook his head and called the waiter over.

"Erm...Small chicken with salad and a water please" I said to the waiter. Jai said I should go on a diet because we're going on holiday soon and he wants me to be comfortable.

"You're not with him right now ya'know?" Michael said and looked at the menu "Two large chicken platters with chips and one glass of your best wine and a beer please" Michael changed my order to something that seems more appealing. It's been ages since someone has treated me to dinner for once instead of me paying for everything.

"How are the boys?" I asked.

"Same old. We still work together. Luke is still skillful at everything...Still hasn't had a girlfriend. Ashton is still grumpy as fuck and Calum is still his lap dog" Michael said and took a sip of his beer he was handed and I done the same with the wine I was given.

"Do you need me to put Ashton in his place again?" I laughed a little.

"And have him shit himself? I think you should" He laughed back "How's Ellie?" He asked.

"Oh...She's great. She's in love with all different types of boys. Her favourite right now...Along with me is Evan Peters. She's changed since how she was and it's good because she very happy now" I smiled.

"And your mum?" He asked. Jai as never asked about my family. Ever. Michael seems so interested and its adorable.
