'I just wanted to make sure it was real'

Zoe's POV

Me,Michel and Lily were all awoken at the same time by large loud banging coming from the front door. Who the hell does this at 4am?!

"Who the fuck is it?" Michael swore and put his jeans on.

The banging continued and I slowly got up to put on my fluffy slippers so I wasn't bare footed.

"IT'S THE POLICE! OPEN UP!" Was yelled and my heart dropped as they continued to bang at the door using some type of equipment.

"What have you done?" I said but he didn't have time to answer. The police had knocked the door down and ran in.

"Get Lily..." He whispered to me.

I ran over to her crib,startling her a bit as her picked her up and held her tightly in my arms.

"Out here!" A police man said then pulled Michael out of the room "You too" He pointed at me and I slowly walked out of the room to see Michael was pressed against the floor by two officers.

There was police running around the house pulling everything apart. There was so many other police officers outside and other people that didn't seem to be police.

"Miss i'm going to have to ask for you to hand the baby over to me" A lady said and held her arms out.

"No! No fucking way!" I yelled and stepped back.

"Its out of my hands now Miss...Hand me the baby" She said.

"No one touches my baby" I snapped and another officer held onto me as the women took Lily out of my arms.

"Give her back!" I yelled trying to get out of his grip "Give me my baby back!" I yelled with tears streaming down my face.

The man now had me pinned against the wall.

"This is for the best" She said.

"No its not! She needs to be with me! I'm her mum not you!" I yelled trying to get out of the mans tight grip.

"If you don't stop i'm going to have to restrain you" He said and the women began to leave.

"Give her back! That's my baby!" I yelled.

"We'll get her back!" I heard Michael yell to me.

"You! Don't talk!" An officer said.

I was full on crying because this all happened so quickly.

"Found it" A man said coming into view with two small plastic bags of weed.

"Michael Clifford i'm arresting you on suspicion of drug dealing you do not have to say anything but if you do it may harm you defence anything you do say will be given in evidence which is something you may later rely on in court" He rushed picking Michael off the ground.

"Zoe! Don't forget I love you and are baby so fucking much!" He yelled before getting in the car.

I bit and kicked the man so he would let go and thank god he did.

I ran up to the women then snatched Lily out of her hands dodging all the officers in my way as I ran down the street to a familiar house.

Thank god he was only around the corner.

I ran making sure Lily was safe in my arms then when I finally reached the door I knocked multiple times in hope he'd answer quicker. I probably woke the whole neighbourhood up in the process.

"Luke! Answer the door!" I yelled and banged on the door.

It was a few seconds and he answer...Naked.
