Chapter 9

Y/N's POV

We had made it to the library. Odin explained to us the origin of the Dark Elves and the Aether. Jane and Thor left together to make their way to the gardens.

"Thor, I will leave you two alone. I'll be in my room" I said with a smile.

"Thank you Lady Y/N"

I ran to my room with only a single thing on my mind. The spell to make duplicates. Loki had tried teaching it to me a couple times. Making duplicates was different from casting illusions.

I opened the golden doors and sat on a chair close to my bed. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I visualized the cell Loki was being kept in.

When I reopened my eyes, I wasn't in my room anymore, I was in a cell and I no longer had chains around my wrists. When I looked around, I saw Loki sleeping. He looked so peaceful. Sadly I had to wake him up, I couldn't be seen here.

I walked up next to him and tried waking him up.

"Loki ! Loki !" He woke up with a shocked look on his face.

"Y/N ! What are you doing here. If they find you, you'll be thrown in a cell too" He said with a concerned and slightly angry tone.

"It's good to see you too" I said.

"How are you here ? Has something happened ?" He asked.

"I'm not actually here" I said as I tried putting my hand on his cheek only for it to disappear into a F/C mist.

"You've managed to cast a duplicate" He said with a proud look on his face.

"Well I had a great teacher"

"Yes, I am pretty great"

I had tears in my eyes. He looked at me with a scared face.

"Darling, are you alright ?" He asked.

I wiped my tears with my sleeve.

"Yes, I'm fine. I was just afraid that I'd never see you again. Odin sounded so serious" I said.

"Do you really think Odin could keep us apart ?" He said in a comforting tone.

"How have things been since my imprisonment ?" He asked, this time more seriously.

"Thor brought a Midgardian, Jane, to Asgard. She's the woman he met on his first trip to Midgard. She possesses the Aether. The Dark Elves will be coming for her" I explained.

Before I had time to continue, we heard a guard walking towards Loki's cell.

"I must get going now. But I promise you, you'll see me soon, my love" I said.

"Until then" He said with his usual mischievous smile.

As I woke up in my room, I heard a knock on my door. I walked to the door and opened it. It was Frigga.

"You've mastered the duplication spell I see" She said with a proud smile.

Frigga truly was an amazing person. She helped me with magic and taught me many things. She understood me well. She was always like a mother to me.

"I won't tell Odin about this, no need to worry" She said.

"I've informed Loki of Miss Foster's condition and the Dark Elves" I admitted.

"If you think he deserves to know the truth, than tell him the truth. You are his wife after all"

I smiled at her.

"Now, we must go" She said as she walked out of the room.

In front of us, Thor and Jane were discussing. Their faces extremely close.
