Chapter 19

Y/N's POV

Thanos, The Mad Titan, had decided to attack our ship. Him and his followers killed many Asgardians.

I was laying on the floor. I tried to hypnotize one of Thanos's guards, but before I could activate my power, they threw me across the room.

Thor was injured and Thanos was standing next to him. Loki was looking at the titan, listening to what he had to say.

As one of Thanos's guards made his speech, I tried to crawl towards Thanos so I could attack.

Suddenly, Thanos grabbed Thor's neck.

"The Tesseract or your brother's head" Thanos told Loki.

Thanos now held Thor's head and he touched Thor's forehead with an infinity stone.

"Kill away" Loki said trying not to show any weakness.

Thor began screaming. Loki looked at me quickly, Thanos noticed. He let go of Thor and walked towards me. Before Thanos could grab my head, Loki intervened.

"Stop !" He screamed.

"We don't have the Tesseract" I told Thanos.

With his magic, Loki revealed the Tesseract in his hand. I looked at him in shock.

"You really are the worst brother" Thor said.

"I assure you, Brother, Y/N, the sun will shine on us again" Loki said as he held the Tesseract in the air.

Thanos chuckled.

"You optimism is misplaced, Asgardian" Thanos said with a smirk.

"Well, for one thing, I'm not Asgardian and for another we have a Hulk" As Loki finished his sentence, Hulk jumped on Thanos and began punching him. The Tesseract fell on the floor.

Thanos quite literally destroyed Hulk. Thor got up and tried punching the Titan, but it had little to no effect.

Ebony Maw, one of Thanos's guards used his power to restrict Thor with scraps of metal.

Heimdall was hurt, he turned his head to face us and he used the power of the Bifrost one last time to teleport Hulk to Earth.

When he finished Thanos grabbed a sword and stabbed him.

"No !" Thor screamed.

I cried, but I couldn't scream. If I made too much noise Thanos would kill me too.

"You're going to die for that !" Thor screamed.

Ebony Maw used his powers to wrap a piece of metal over Thor's mouth making him unable to speak.

Thanos grabbed the Tesseract and crushed it. There was a single glowing stone in his hand. He attached the stone to his gauntlet.

"There are two more stones on earth. Find them, my children" He said.

Thanos's 'children' bowed and got ready to leave, but before they could Loki interrupted.

"If you're going to Earth, you might want a guide. I have a bit of experience in that arena" Loki said.

"If you consider failure experience" Thanos answered back.

"I consider experience experience"

"Almighty Thanos, I, Loki, prince of Asgard, Odinson, the rightful king of Jotunheim, god of Mischief, brother to the god of thunder and husband to the goddess of Love..." While Loki spoke, I noticed he had conjured a dagger in his hand and he hid it behind his back.

"...Do hereby pledge to you my undying fidelity"

Once he finished, Loki tried attacking Thanos with his weapon, but Thanos used the space stone to keep Loki's hand in place.

"You should choose your words more wisely" Thanos said as he grabbed Loki's neck, lifting him up from the ground. Thanos began choking Loki.

I tried running towards them, but one of Thanos's guards held me back. I tried using my power on the guard, but they made sure to keep me far away.

"Loki ! Let him go !" I screamed, pain in my voice.

Loki tried to get out of Thanos's grip, but he was unable to. His face became blue.

I started crying.

"Stop !"

"You... will... never be... a god" Loki said to Thanos.

Loki looked at me one last time, a sad smile on his face, before dying.

Thanos let him go, he fell to the floor.

"No !" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

I conjured a dagger, just like how Frigga and Loki taught me, and I ran towards Thanos.

I stabbed his shoulder.

Thor tried screaming, as if he was asking me to stop. Thanos took the dagger from his shoulder and stabbed me. I looked at my wound, it was in the middle of my stomach. I was bleeding out.

As Thanos and his guards left, Thor was let out of his restraints.

I crawled towards Loki and put my head on his chest and I held his hand. It was cold. There was no life. He was dead.

I cried. Soon I'd die too.

Thor grabbed me and held me in his arms.

"Please. Don't leave me alone" He cried.

"Please Y/N. Please. I can't go on without you and Loki, you're all I have"

I looked at Thor straight in the eye and told him one thing.

"Avenge us"

And before I knew it everything went black.

Y/N, The Goddess of Love, Sister to Thor, Adopted Daughter of Odin and Frigga, Wife of Loki...

Was Dead.
