Neil Perry=
-You and him had an awards ceremony to attend. He was invited to attend the Tony Awards. He was nominated for Best Lead Actor in a play. He and Paul Scofield were the two men getting the most talk this go around. The press was making them out to be enemies because they were competitors for this honorable but silly awards.
-Being Neil's long term and long time lover, you were his date to this show. He had been to one before, one year ago. His manager was his plus one last time. Being this was your first award show of many, you wanted Neil to pick you out something to wear. You didn't know what people wore to the TONY AWARDS! So he picked you this dress; he said you needed to wear 'a dress that it just as elegant, but not more elegant, than you':

Todd Anderson:
-Todd was on a book tour. One of his stops was Milan, Italy. Being that Milan is known for its fashion and design, he wanted to pick you out a clothing item to bring home to you.
-A few gentlemen helped him pick a dress for you. It was a bit overwhelming for him because they spoke really fast and had thick accents. But eventually, he chose this one for you. For the rest of his book tour, he only thought about your reaction to this dress; when he gave it to you, he said he wanted you to feel like the princess he wrote about in his story books:

Knox Overstreet:
-Knox had to go to a couples home all the way in New York. They were having a massive dispute and needed urgent help and they honestly feared they'd kill one another in the car if they drove to Knox's office. Knox left at four in the morning, in a panic, to go rescue these people's marriage
-Well... he didn't rescue their marriage. When he got there, furniture and clothing was on the front lawn and the wife was SCREAMING at her husband. As soon as Knox walked inside of the wide open door, something was thrown at his face. "TAKE IT! GET IT OUT OF MY SIGHT! I NEVER WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN!" It was the woman's wedding dress. Her husband, well ex husband, apologized to Knox and told him just to leave. Knox drove all the way back home and told you what happened... then gave you the wedding dress. Lucky enough for you, it was the perfect size:
