MONSTER

𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐁'𝐒 𝐀𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 made Loranne feel relieved and safe to know she wasn't around such a monster and bad energy. But without Jacob made her feel bored and worried. Hoping he wasn't hunting for caring animals and humans.

All yesterday's crying drained her out as she laid her head on her arm, not noticing sleep filled her mind.

                                  -

"𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞", she felt a tug on her back, "𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞", she lifted up her head as she heard her name being mumbled. Mr Aiken, her teacher stood in worry. "𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲? 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬" he asked worriedly. She slowly nodded, standing up from her seat. The teachers eyes followed her as she picked up her backpack. "𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧, 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰". She walked out the classroom, making her way home.

As she passed by all kinds of houses, she walked by the fence of Jacob's house. There she heard Jacob and his mother yelling. "𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙇𝘿 𝙔𝙊𝙐!", she yelled. Pain and fear filled her voice. "𝙄'𝙢 𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮! 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙤, 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙖𝙮 𝙖 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜! 𝙄 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚.", she heard Jacob's voice crack. Then nothing was heard, she hardly gulped and continued to walk with her hands playing with each other.

As Loranne finished up her homework, heavy rain thrashed on her window. Small pallets of lightning reflected on her mirror. A yawn dawned on her face as dry tears barley visible appeared in her eyes.

She set down her pencil and stood up from her chair. Plopping down on her bed, face first, mumbling how tired she was in her pillow.

Around 5 in the morning, thunder struck too close to her house making Loranne sit up and gasp. She scrutinized her room, the frigid cold room. As another bulge of lightning reflected on her window, where she saw a pale figure near her window. She wasn't scared anymore, she stood up slowly, her bare feet hitting the floor with a creek on every step. Her breath hitched as she perceived the figure was her neighbor next door, Jacob.

As she approached to the figure much closer, his eyes trailed wavered her whole. She could help but erupt into butterfly's when she noticed. Now inches from his face, feeling his hitching hot breath. In that moment, she didn't think. She slowly leaned in and so did he, though they both knew what they wanted. Their lips barley touching, brushing against each other. Her stomach exploded into butterflies, and as he was about connect both pair of lips, she leaned out and looked down.

"𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬, 𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫", she thought.

He felt guilty, he leaned in and planted a kiss on her forehead due to him being 4 or 5 feet taller. "𝙄'𝙢 𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮", he whispered.

She looked up at him, with her glossy eyes making him wanting to explode into apprehension. He walked towards her window and opened it, letting in buckets of rain and hail. He gave her one last glance before jumping off. "𝐉𝐀𝐂𝐎𝐁 𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓!", she yelled out the window. Her heart skipped a beat as she realized her room being on the second floor.

Once she looked down, he was gone. There was no pieces of evidence of him jumping out. "what the hell?", she whispered.
