TODAY WAS FINALLY HALLOWEEN. The best time of the year. I truly was excited, and my grandmother made my costume again this year.
Not anything too fancy, but enough to express myself through. Europe went as a dead cheerleader, with pigtails hanging out, and fake blood dripping from her uniform.
And her other sisters went as ninjas, which was adorable. This year, I decided to go as a princess. I was going to wear a green ball gown with glowing sparkles and with sneakers.
My hair would be tied in a high pigtail rubbed around a light green band.

She heard multiple loud bangs on her door, hearing giggles and laughs from behind it. Squealing once after opening the door, entangling hands with Europe.
"you looked great!", Loranne compliments.
"never as great as you, I love the dress!", Euro exclaimed
Sharing a few laughter before heading out to the streets. Running down the sidewalks filled with excited children eating some candy already.
It was around 9:45 pm when the streets were even more filled with teenagers. Music from parties were now banging, allowed people to hear from miles away.
Loranne thought how she would be when she was a teen. How would she look. Knocking at a blue wooden door, as it opened. Reveling a man in his 40's, he looked pale and had pores on his skin.
Europe and Loranne shared weird glances.
"trick-o-treat?", Europe states
"right", he nodded unbothered
He closed the door, and opened it back with a container with candy. Europe stooled her hand in the pot. Loranne shot second thoughts to the man. He furrowed his eyebrows as he tried to study her thoughts.
Yet he couldn't, he was left in confusion when he realized she had left a long time ago.
She walked down the street tangled hands with Europe as her sisters walked in front of them, pointing at the best decorated houses.
As they entered back on Loranne's street, she had the urge to use the bathroom.
She excused herself to use the bathroom and soon was on her way to her home. Her street felt cold and foggy, empty and emotionless.
The street had nobody walking down there, it already being 12:36. All was heard was the music from parties blading from the other side of the neighborhood.
She heard footsteps behind her, in a second she turned around to see nobody near by. The nightlight posts were flickering on and off, till they officially closed down.
No light was shown, except the house of Jacobs. His room light was flickering as well. A pair of hands grabbed her waist, pulling her to face the figure.
She squealed, cupping a hand over her mouth after seeing it was Jacob. He had a red shirt and his hair was fluffed in a middle part.
"Jesus, you scared me", She removed her hand off her mouth.
"yeah, sorry about that"
He eyed her beautifully made costume. As she looked him in the eye.
"you look beautiful"
and she did, as the moon reflected on her, shining brighter than ever. The sparkles on her dress made her eyes twinkle in the foggy night.
A harsh wind blew the both of the kids out of their balance.
"what the hell?", she questioned
As if the moonlight died down and turned a harsh bloody red. A veiny hand grabbed her silky hair, dragging her across the bumpy road.
A loud scream came out of her mouth, bringing Jacobs attention towards the girl getting slashed from a horrible creature. Warm tears slipped from her eyes as she saw nothing but blur.
The fog was worse, covering the whole path way. Jacob ran towards the girl, as fast as he could. But something in the fog was making his powers useless.
He fell on his knees, trying to block out the cool air hitting his hair. Her screams were becoming faint, as father as they went.
His eyes turned blood shot orange. He stood on the ground with his feet. As he ran towards her. But that thing was faster than him.
"let her go!", he screamed as he ran, trying to catch up
"jacob!", was heard faintly.
He ran towards her voice as fast as his feet could take him. And he saw her sparkly dress. He ran into a big house, it was filled with mirrors. A fun house.
A figure shot up through the mirrors, reflecting it on every mirror.
"Loranne?", he yelled
Her faint screams were heard, muffled somewhere hidden
A familiar figure reflecting through the mirror, as Jacob felt a pang in his chest.
"Dad?", he grit his teeth.
"long time no see"
"dad, let her go"
"i'm sorry son"
"dad. Stop it"
He felt hands tangle around his neck as they were blocking his airway. His breath gradually began to slow down. Trying to get out of his father's grasp.
"please"
And his limp body fell on the ground
