GONE (COMPLETED)

CH. 11

"Open it." — my Thea said as she hand me a little box that wrapped in a yellow silk with a red ribbon at the top. I can feel my fastened heartbeat as I reach her gift to me. My imagination start working as I visualize what was her little expensive gift to me. I look at her and she gave me her killer smile.

"What is this?" — I asked as I swallowed because of nervousness. What if it's a ring? Is she going to propose to me already? I'm starting to assume things that it should not yet to be happened for now. I don't want to think like that hut I can't help it. Especially that I'm always dreaming having a wedding with my girlfriend. I turned back my gaze in her present to me as I start unwrapping it. I feel so excited as I successfully unwrapped the wrapper and I can feel overwhelmed at the sight of this little box in my hand. I look at her again and she just signal me to go on and continue to open it. I can feel my shaking hands as my eyes start to sting. I swallowed again before I found my courage to open the box. It's a couple silver ring, I feel so happy as I keep my gaze on the rings. I didn't know that I was crying already when I felt Thea's palm on my cheeks.

"Naisip ko lang na never pa tayo naglaroon ng couple ring so... what do you think baby?" — tanong nito sa akin na nasa tono ang pagkamahiyain. Napatawa naman ako ng mahina sabay suot sa kanya ng isang singsing.

"I love it. This is so pretty, this is the sign that you can't get away from me." — biro ko sa kanya. She just laugh before she get the other ring and put it kn my finger.

"I don't want to promise anything but I want you to know that I love you and I'll be always here for you." — she said as her tears start to fall. We both laugh as we keep on wiping our tears. We look like a foolish love but what can do? We're just in love... we are in love, madly and deeply.

The night was ended by tasting each other lips. I really can't get enough of her lips, if I could just kissed her the whole day, I will. Napatawa naman ako sa naisip, it's ridiculous thought but it give me a different feelings inside me.

I was watching her sleeping beside me, she really look like an Angel. She looks so expensive sleeper beside me, how can I unloved this person? She's so precious.

"Baby stop staring." — she weakly said. I giggle before I planted a peck on her lips. She groan and tried to cover her lips but I swift away and claim her lips again... well longer than the usual. "I have morning breath." — she said. But I just told her that I don't care and kissed her again. Wala naman syang nagawa kung hindi tugunin ang halik ko. I smiled between our kissed because I win again.

"I told you, I'm already addicted to your lips. So I will kiss you whenever or wherever I want." — I said. She open her eyes as her left eyebrows went up. "What?" — mataray na usal ko sabay taas din ng kilay ko. She just shake her head as she place her hands on my cheeks.

"Wala. Hindi ka talaga takot sabihin kung ano ang nasa isip mo." — she said. I grin at her as our nose touched.

"Wala akong kinatatakutan basta pagdating sayo..." — I respond the pull back and stare at her eyes. "But... losing you... by just thinking about that— thinking that you're gonna leave me. It's very frightening. Sobrang natatakot ako Thea." — I added as I can feel my shaky body with that thoughts. She comforted and help me to calm, she keep on telling me that she's just here beside and I should stop thinking too much.

"It just— I can't help it. I'm sorry sweetheart." — I said weakly. She shake her head and kissed me on the cheeks.

"Hmm— Ayan ka na naman. You said sorry again." — she said then show me her sad face. I smiled at her and stole a kissed on her lips. Her forming smile was now plastered on her face.

"You really love to seal your lips on mine, right?" — she teased me. I look at her with a smug on my face.

"So? May magagawa ka ba?" — mataray na tanong ko sa kanya. We just keep on teasing each other and talked about our upcoming vacation. We're both excited.

"So anyway, you just told me recently about your mom having a twin sister." — I said to her. She just nodded her head. "I'm just curious— you know." — I added. She hummed before she folded the book that she was reading so she can give me her full attention. I fidget my fingers because I feel nervous asking her about her relatives since this is the first time she told me about it.

"Hmm— so what do you want to know about the baby?" — she said, her full attention is now on me. She reached my hand as she pull me on her lap. I wrapped my hand on her nape and lean my head on her shoulder. "Go on, I won't get mad." — she added. Nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag sa sinabi nya.

"You never talked about them kasi so I was wondering if  hindi ba kayo okay?" — I hesitated ask her. She giggle as she stroke my hair.

"Baby, hindi sa ganun. Ahm— let's say that may tampuhan lang ang mommy ko at ang kambal nya. Hmm— pano ko ba to sisimulan?" — she said struggling how to start her story. I peck her lips as I encourage her that she can tell me anything.

"May conflict kina mommy Tricia at momma Trixie..." — she started, I remained silent as I give her all my ears to listen to her eagerly. "Well— mom dated this guy called, Carlo. As per mommy, Tito Carlo was her first love and first boyfriend. They are both in love that time, mom is a serious type of person unlike Momma Trixie, who's sweet and fun to be with. I don't know exactly what happened but mommy and Tito Carlo broke up because of Momma. So that's the reason why my Mom and Momma are not in good terms until now." — she summarized, I gave her a sad smile but she reach for my hand and squeezed it, reassuring me that nothing's wrong. "Tito Carlo is the husband of Momma right now." — she added, napatango naman ako.

"Pero okay naman kayo ng Momma mo?" — nag aalalang tanong ko sa kanya. Napatango naman sya.

"Yes, we're cool. Wala naman magagawa si Mommy kapag kausap ko sila. Isa pa, casual na sina Mommy at Momma, minsan nagiging awkward lang kapag kasama ni Momma si Tito Carlo." — dagdag nito sabay tawa ng mahina, napangiti naman ako. "Sometimes I'm thinking that Mom has remaining feelings towards Tito pero mukhang mali naman ako. Kasi napansin ko kung gaano kamahal ni Mommy si Daddy. Baka wala lang silang magandang closure ni Tito Carlo." — she said. Napatango naman ako dahil pwedeng ganun nga dahilan kung bakit ganun si Tita sa kakambal nito.

"I wanted to meet them." — tanging nasabi ko.

"Don't worry, they will come here next month. Especially namiss ko na si Twinny Cousin ko." — she respond. Her last word caught my attention kaya napataas ang kilay ko.

"What do you mean bu that sweetheart?" — I asked her. She was about to answer me when mom interrupted us telling that dinner is ready.

We have enjoyed our dinner time that my curiosity about her twinny cousin has forgotten and never been open up.
