I was supposed to fight and not him, I marched straight towards my bedroom slamming the door shut behind me, making Maeve jump from her skin. Fetch me a quill and paper I have a letter to write Maeve that had almost lost her heart from the jump looked at me. Did you not hear what I said? And Lauren I said as I turned to face the other woman. Do get my things ready, I am leaving for my fathers house at once. Laurens eyes strayed to my stomach before she met my eye, holding my gaze for a good solid minute before I looked away angrily. Did you not- We heard you the first time, came Laurens voice as she continued with her duty of folding the linens on the bed, taking her time and bringing out the corners of all clothes: We will just not do it.

Maeve nodded alongside with her. You see we have straight orders not to let you out of the palace, then her eyes strayed to my whole form or to let you out with only your night dress as a form of protection. She gave me a nasty look and I knew I was going to have to use more than flowers to get her to forgive me. And these orders were given by? They both ignored me, continuing about their chatter and picking out names of a child they had claimed they were expecting soon.

I walked to my table, searching furiously, looking for any quill or paper to write a reply to my father with but all I found was a dust free space and the big black book I had gotten as an early gift from the prince. My hands stayed on the title, it was a book filled with love poems that he had read to me on the first day he brought out the book from the dusty library. Holding the book in my arms, staring at it caused dizziness rush through me and I had to grip the chair to stay upright. What was wrong with me? One moment I was fine the next I was pouring out my intestines.

Maeve saw my discomfort and rushed towards me, holding my arms as she helped me to sit down. Lauren as if on cue brought a bucket under my nose and a great many substance flowed in. Probably it was the food I was eating. Or the air I was breathing. Now, now, my lady, you simply cannot leave in this state. I opened my mouth to argue with her but what came out was more vomit. Lauren turned her face from the smell. You need rest my lady, enough rest and proper food. She looked into the distant, Or god help me he will have my- she was cut short as Maeve sent her a very displeasing look and they both shared a secret smile, their eyes landing on my stomach ever so often.

I was helped to the bed and made very comfortable, with enough pillows behind my back and head, I was very weak to, not that I was planning on leaving right away, my head felt to heavy and my eyes could barely keep open. Of the two servants Maeve rushed out almost running to the kitchen to bring me food, while Lauren stayed with me, cleaning me ever so light with a dump clothe. At the end of the day, I ended up sleeping. It was a peaceful sleep at first, not until I saw Trenton walk towards me with a smile on his face as he passed me going for the lady behind me just like he did a certain ball back.

I cannot remember how it happened but even in my sleep I called out his name before the detestable substance found its way out of my mouth. Oh dear, you need not to stress yourself my lady, everything will be fine. I could not tell who of the two had spoken, but it was going to take more than words to make me feel better.

It was way past super when I awake, the halls empty except for the rare maids or servants that graced it with its presence. The walls bare to. I made my way towards the library, hoping to clear my many thoughts by reading a book, besides my body felt too stiff from lying down in the same position for a good long time, not that I was complaining. I pushed open the door, a low fire burning by the hearth, curiosity got the better of me as I walked towards the inner section of the room, just opposite to where Madelyn had attacked me. I ran my hands along the wall, looking for a secret book or something that would open the wall or a door, but found none. I felt my way around the wall, it getting thinner by distance I took, since the entrance was in a maize of books and shelves. When I found my way through I walked in, I had to adjust to the light in the room as it was to dim for me to see through. Once my eyes had adjusted I scanned the room, Madelyn sitting by the couch holding her head and he was there to. Unable to move I held my breath.
