You sat in the apartment waiting for Davina to get done getting ready for the day. It was no secret that the two of you were close. Everyone who was involved with the supernatural in New Orleans knew that both of you would go to hell and back for each other.
It wasn't easy for you to make many friends anymore. Vampires hated you because your family was one to be feared. Werewolves hated you because Nik would turn them into hybrids if he could. Witches hated you because you were an abomination to nature.
Davina wasn't like that with you. She didn't treat you like you were a Mikaelson. She didn't treat you like you were an Original. She didn't even treat you like an abomination even though you shouldn't be able to live. She treated you like a friend.
Davina walked out of her bedroom as you stood up from the couch. Davina asked, "What do you want to do today?"
You suggested, "Want to see what kind of trouble we can get into?"
Davina glanced at you with worry in her eyes. Davina asked, "Oh God, we're going to die, aren't we?"
You chuckled, "It's a Tuesday, I know how to restrain myself."
In truth, you knew that Davina was probably close to being right. You knew that you wouldn't die, or at least, wouldn't let Davina die, but you knew that you two would probably get in a lot of trouble. Davina scoffed, "You absolutely do not."
You rolled your eyes, "Do too!"
Davina denied, "Do not! Remember when we went to the zoo. You set the lions loose."
You defended, "That was an accident."
Davina scoffed, "Yeah, right." You opened your mouth to argue. "Even if it was, it was an accident that could've killed someone."
