4. opposite of hide

A WEDNESDAY EVENING had never been that chaotic for the three Ravenclaw girls. Each one of them lay on their separate beds, a fourth girl also in the room named Pandora Ollivander.

Pandora was a sweet and dreamy girl, who liked to be by herself quite a lot, but still tagged along the other three every now and then. Claudia had a strong liking towards the dreamy girl, despite the way others would treat her. She was always kind and always helped as soon as one would need it.

During this entire conversation Pandora was, however, completely engulfed in a charms book, which meant that she didn't really pay attention, which didn't really matter as the subject was on one thing and one thing only.

Sirius Black.

"I'm telling you, I thought I was going to die out of embarrassment!" Betty exclaimed, her face all red, as she stood up and started pacing back and forth.

"So you're telling me that Sirius asked you to Hogsmeade, and you just ran off?" Claudia questioned her friend. "Why'd you do that?"

"I don't know!" She said as she stopped and stomped her legs in place out of pure annoyance. "I freaked out, alright? His face is just so... so annoyingly kissable!"

"Then you go to Hogsmeade with him, and kiss him!" Claudia proposed.

"I don't think you should," Inez butted in. "He does have kind of a reputation."

"That's true," Betty sighed. "Then what do I do if he asks me again? Not that that would happen after I just embarrassed the living hell out of myself!"

"Don't worry Bets, he probably just thinks you didn't hear him," Claudia assured her. "And as for what you should do if he asks you again, you say yes if you want to and then you make sure to not kiss him! Make sure he struggles a little before you give in, that way you won't just be an easy victim, he will be forced to earn it and along the way he will learn just how great you are!"

"You think that will work?" Betty asked.

"Meh, I think so, but don't take my word for it! Just... be careful!"

"Okay, I can do that," she decided. "Just... make him earn it."

"That's my girl," Claudia exclaimed, to which Betty and Inez laughed.

"What do you think of Claudia's idea Pandora?" Inez asked the blonde, who didn't even move a finger as she probably didn't notice that they were speaking to her.

"I don't think she's listening," Betty acknowledged.

The Marauders were having a similar discussion in the Gryffindor tower, one boy specifically not paying attention to the conversation at all.

The one not paying attention? Remus Lupin.

The subjects of the conversation? Betty Arnaud.
