REMUS AND CLAUDIA were both completely over the moon.
Well, maybe that wouldn't be the right term considering Remus was a werewolf on the day of a full moon, but nonetheless the pair were both completely head over heels and disgustingly and crazily happy.
Remus had never before felt that good on the same day of a full moon.
And, in all honesty, neither had Claudia.
Because, just about a day ago, Remus and Claudia had kissed; and all the two could think about was when they would be able to do it again.
It was all Claudia thought about as she went to class, all she thought about as she ate her meals and all she thought about as she did her homework.
She just couldn't stop zoning out and imagine his lips on hers, as silly as it may sound.
Remus wasn't exactly doing any better. Claudia was all he thought about as he spent the day in his bed, resting and preparing for the full moon as he, even though he was ashamed of himself, watched Claudia's name float around the Marauder's map as she went from class to class.
Another reminder that she really was real and that he wasn't just imagining the best possible things.
Claudia had eventually finished her classes of the day, and she ended up deciding on doing some more homework before she would go to Remus. She skipped through the hallways to the library; something that didn't go unnoticed by Remus who was watching her name on the map, seeing how she was moving much faster than normally.
She was just so pleased that she skipped.
Because for once, things felt promising. Claudia was in love with a boy who was ever so perfect in every way, and she was finally able to be mildly public with her friendships and with him, and she was piecing her friendships back together one by one; trying her hardest to not shut Betty out completely even though that was what she probably should've done.
But she wasn't going to hold grudges. Because Claudia had let it go for the most part - and now Betty just needed to do so as well.
Something that she would struggle with doing for so long.
It wasn't that Claudia didn't feel betrayed or hurt, but she was just too damn tired to give a fuck to put it plainly. She was sick of thinking about it all the time - but now she didn't.
Now all she thought about was Remus, and for once she didn't feel scared or sad - because all she thought about was the good stuff. Him as a person, and him alongside her.
