Chapter Eleven
❤❤❤Aria’s POV❤❤❤
After waiting quite a while for Eve to come back as I was anxious to know how her date went, I played on my phone while I lay on my bed.
‘Hey Aria.. Idk if your’e asleep, but I need to talk to you.. ~Alek’ lit up my screen two hours after Eve left. I giggled, ‘cause he thought I could’ve been asleep and he was so nice to have been thinking of me. I smiled, thinking of Alek, as I opened his text so I could reply.
‘Hey Alek :) Whatcha need to tell me? ~Aria’ I pressed send and looked over to Avery’s bed. She was still awake and playing on her phone, but Jess was crashed out. She must be tired from helping Eve put on make-up. She did do it perfectly after all.
“Texting your boyfriend Aria?” Avery teased. She must have seen the smile on my face, and most likely my red cheeks. I ‘pshhhed’ and coughed, getting ready to attempt to change the subject.
“I know you like Logan, Avery.” I snickered. Come to think of it, Snickers are one of my favorite candies… Sorry, random fact.
“And I know that you wanna bang Alek.” She smirked and I gasped. She did not just say that! Why in the world… I don’t even wanna know what goes through that girl’s mind!
“W-what?! Why would you say that!” I put my phone down and sat up to look at her. We seemed to wake up Jess, because she groaned and said, “I’m trying to sleep.” She grabbed a pillow and put it over her head. I laughed and told Avery to shush. I picked up my phone again to see I had a new text from Alek.
‘I wanna tell you it in person though.. Can we meet up tomorrow sometime? ~Alek’ I smiled at his sweetness, not wanting to text it to me, and tell it to me in person. I liked people who had guts.
‘Yeah sure, why don’t you eat breakfast with us? Same table we ate lunch at. ~Aria’ I replied quickly so that Avery wouldn’t get curious and steal my phone to read our texts. Thankfully, I got a quick reply in return: ‘Ok, I’ll see you tomorrow ;) ~Alek’
I smirked at his cheekiness. He kind of reminds me of Harry and Niall of One Direction put together; he was cheeky, but incredibly sweet at the same time. Plus, he was the perfect amount of cute and hot mixed together. God has definitely sent me a gift, as cheesy as that may sound.
“You like Alek.” Avery said in a tell-tale voice, “I’m gunna tell him.” She whispered. I looked at her with my big doe-eyes.
“You wouldn’t dare.” I breathed. Before I knew it she was over at my bed trying to grab my phone out of my hand. She was laughing as I struggled to regain my phone as it fell into her grasp.
“You never denied you don’t like him!” She yell-whispered. I couldn’t answer her, because I realized I didn’t know how I felt. With him it was like love at first sight, even though that sounds cliche. i don’t know if I could tell him though, he knows about my past, but he continues to be cheeky around me. I’m not saying I minded.
“Haha! Got it!” Shoot! During my little zone out, she had stolen the phone out of my hands and was running towards the bathroom. I quickly got up and chased her as she ran into the bathroom, which had a lock.
“Avery! Stop!” She giggled from the other side of the bathroom door as she locked it. Then she proceeded to tell me everything she was about to do. She spoke her actions as I just pounded on the door.
“Alek, I really, really, really like you. Even if I only met you today. I hope we can be together. Love, Aria.” She snickered and I heard the ‘whoosh’ I set my phone to make whenever I sent a text. I gasped, I couldn’t believe she actually did that! How could she?! I lowered my hand from banging on the doors of the bathroom and I just ran out of our dorm.
Thank goodness we can roam freely around campus with no security guards watching us…
