Allison
*Four months later*

"Finally. Summer break." I said to myself as I laid in bed.
"Happy birthday to me." I whispered.

I got out of bed, put on my clothes, and walked out to the kitchen.
"Good morning bambina! Did you sleep good?" Carina asked.
"Totally. Thanks for letting me go out last night. Page and I had a lot of fun." I said as I poured myself a cup of coffee.
"It's no problem. You're mature enough. We trust you. I have to run to the hospital, you're going to the station with Maya today right?"
I nodded and sipped my coffee.

"Okay farfalla. Have fun today. Love you." She kissed the top of my head and ran out the door.

I sat there for a minuet, and Maya came out of her room.
"Hey kid. You ready?" Maya asked.
"Yes ma'am." I grabbed my phone and we walked out the door.

"How's Page?" She asked as we drove to the station.
"She's good. Her parents are really excited that she's finally dating." I said with a small smile.
"Good. I'm glad you found someone you really care about, and that cares about you. She's a sweet kid."
"Yeah." I stared out the window. I know my Mom and Dad weren't thinking about me today. They hadn't even tried to find me in the four months I've been gone. And I didn't expect Maya and Carina to know my birthday. I never told them.

We pulled up to the station, and walked upstairs to the kitchen.

"Surprise! Happy birthday!" Everyone shouted as we walked in.
"Oh my God! How did you guys know?" I asked Maya and Carina.
"I had to fill out your birthday on your medical charts. You really thought we wouldn't remember your birthday?" Carina said while hugging me.
"Happy birthday kid." Maya gave me a hug.

"Thank you guys so much. You really didn't have to do this." I said, giving everyone a hug.
"Of course we did. You're family. We celebrate family." Ben told me.
"Sorry we're late! Surgery ran long!" Arizona walked in with Doctor Bailey and Callie.
"Arizona! Callie! Doctor Bailey!" I ran over and gave them hugs.

"Happy birthday cupcake." Arizona said with a smile.
"You guys are the best. I mean it."
"Come on, let's eat." Maya drug me over to the taco bar they had set up.

A few hours later, we were sitting at the table joking about everything that had happened the past four months.
"This girl is a serious beast. And she just keeps getting better. 102 push ups in three minuets when she first came around, now she's up to 115." Andy bragged.
"Allison, your confidence has grown so much since you started living with us. Carina and I are really proud of you." Maya said, squeezing my hand.
"Thank you guys. I don't know what I'd do without you. Without any of you." I said with a smile.

"Cake and present time!" Travis said walking in with a cake.

"Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear Allison, happy birthday to you!" They all sang.
I blew out the candle, and they all cheered and clapped.

"Okay mija, this one is from your favorite Tia." Andy said handing me a bag.
I opened it, and smiled.
"My own station 19 sweat pants and hoodie? Thank you Tia." I reached over and hugged her.

"Now, from your favorite Auntie." Vic said with a smile.
I opened the box, "My own station 19 tumbler! Thank you Auntie Vic." I gave her a hug.

I opened everyone's gifts, which included a bunch of station 19 gear from Dean, a few CD's from Callie and Arizona, a few cook books from Doctor Bailey and Ben, and workout clothes from Jack, Travis, and Sullivan.

"Okay farfalla. This one is from Maya." Carina handed me a big box.

I opened a box, and gasped.
"Is this what I think it is?" I asked.
"Your very own turnout gear. And hat to go with it. I figured if you were going to train with us, you might as well have your own stuff." She said with a smile.
"Holy shit! Thank you!" I gave her a tight hug.
"Language!" Carina and Maya said together.
"Sorry."

"Okay Allison. This one is from Maya and me." Carina handed me a box.

I opened it, and stared at the paper.
"Mini Bishop? What is it?" Andy asked.

"It's... It's adoption papers. How? Why?" I asked with tears in my eyes.

"Because we love you, that's why. I tracked down Dad and your Mom. We told them that we wanted you, and they signed over their rights. It's official, if you want us." Maya said with a smile, a tear rolling down her face.
