Maya

"Hey. How'd it go?" I asked as Carina walked out of the bedroom.
"It went good. I explained to her how important it was to stay safe during intercourse. Even with another female."
"Okay I really don't want to hear about my little sister having sex." Maya shook her head.

"She's doing better. She asked me something while I was in there." Carina put her hands on my hips.
"What did she ask?" I asked.
"She asked if she could call me Mom." She said with a smile.
"Really? What did you say?"
"I said yes of course. I wouldn't dream about saying anything else other than that."
"You're amazing." I leaned and gave her a kiss.

"Ew. Can you guys not do that where we eat?" Alison joked as she came out of her room.
"Oh hush. How you feeling kid?" I asked.
"Better. Mom talked to me about a bunch of stuff." She said leaning against the counter.

"I heard. Andy and Vic should be here soon. We'll order some food and we'll watch movies all night long." I kissed the top of my little sisters head.

Allison

"Can I come to work with you tomorrow?" I asked Carina.
"You want to come to work with me instead of Maya?" She asked with a laugh.
"Yeah. I haven't been there in a while. I miss going there. Plus I can meet Andrea."
"Wait. You know about Andrew?" She asked.
"Yeah. I know about my brother too. I heard you guys talking about them the other night." I shrugged.

"Farfalla... we didn't want to hurt you with everything. My brother... your brother..." Carina sighed.
"Our brother has issues. Mason is a good guy. He's an amazing person, but he just got hooked on some bad stuff." Maya explained.
"I know. I looked him up on Facebook."
"Wait, Mason has a Facebook?"

"Yeah. Here." I typed his name in on my phone and handed it to him.
"He says he's over a year sober on there. I don't know much else, since I'm not his friend."
"Wow... he looks so good..." Maya whispered.

"Yeah..." I trailed off.

We heard a knock on the door, and I went to answer it.
"Hola mija!" Andy said as she and Vic walked through the door carrying bags.
"Hey guys. What do you have?" I asked.
"We brought crafty stuff! Tie dye stuff, canvases to paint on, stuff like that." Vic said as she put the bags on the table.

"I'm gonna order us some food." Maya said as she handed me back my phone.

"How you feeling mini Bishop?" Vic asked me.
"A little better. I'm still sad though." I sighed.

"It's okay. She doesn't know what she's missing. You're a good kid. And you're gonna be a kick ass fire fighter just like Maya and your Auntie's." Vic ruffled my hair.

Maya
*A few hours later*

"Farfalla be careful, don't get the tie dye stuff everywhere." Carina said.
"I know Mom!" She shouted happily from her spot in the back yard with Vic and Andy.
"I like hearing her say that." I wrapped my arms around Carina from behind.
"I do too. I'm glad she trusts and loves me enough to feel comfortable calling me that." She leaned into me.
"Do you want kids? Well, more kids?" I asked.
"I do. I want at least one more. Maybe two."
"Me too. You know you'd have to carry though, right? My job is too dangerous."

"I know. And I'm okay with that. We'll just use your egg so we have one that looks like you and Allison."
"I like that idea." I kissed her cheek.
