Blair's P.O.V
I stared at my mom like she was crazy,
"What are you talking about? Why are you acting like a crazy person?" I asked confused.
"Blair, I'm not lying. Its all true, vampires, witches, werewolves..." my mom explained.
"You're crazy." I muttered, shaking my head and she sighed in annoyance.
"Mom; vampires, witches, werewolves... they don't exist! Only in the movies!" I exclaimed, pointing to my head to signify that I thought she was crazy.
"I'm not crazy, I'm not lying," she snapped.
"Whatever you say mom," I sighed.
"I'll prove it to you," she said and then about 10 candles that were in the room lit by themselves.
I looked around terrified at what had just happened.
"What was that?" I asked slowly.
"I did that with my mind," she replied and I just stared at her in confusion.
"Mom, now you really are scaring me,"
Then, all the candles went out again. I looked around in terror and then back at her to try and figure out what was going on.
"Who's there?!" I called out in panic.
"Nobody is there. It's me." My mom said calmly.
"What? What are you talking about? What are you?!" I shrieked.
"I'm a witch." she told me.
"T-this is ridiculous... none of this is real mom! You're acting crazy!" I yelled.
"Blair I know this is a lot to take in, but you'll understand. You will develop your witch powers too one day and you'll understand," she said softly.
"What?! Are you calling me a witch?! I don't know what's going on in your head mom, but... but this is crazy!" I yelled.
"Blair I'm sorry but it is all true, I am a witch, you are a witch and.." she paused, and I continued to stare at her expectantly.
"Your father, he's a vampire," she finished.
I shook my head fast in disbelief and horror, my hands trembling a bit. I don't know why I was getting so upset about this, but it just did not feel right.
"No.. No! Stop lying to me!" I yelled, covering my ears with my hands as if that would block out the noise.
"I'm so sorry Blair.." my mom said softly, she took a deep breath,
"There is one more thing..." she paused again,
"I would like you to meet your father," she announced.
I stared at her in shock for about five minutes, as if what she just said to me was alien language.
"No.. no! NO!" I exclaimed.
"Come on Blair, you've wanted to meet him all your life," she said.
"Yeah, when I was younger. Until I realised that he has never been a part of my life before so he doesn't have the right to come into my life now, 14 years later!" I shouted.
"Blair, I'm sorry that you've had to go through this, I know it must be a lot to take in.." she begun.
"You're sorry? Mom, you have just turned my world upside down! It's never going to be the same again." I snapped with a shake of my head and then ran upstairs and locked myself in my room.
"Blair! Please!" My mom called but I blocked her out. I sat at my window seat and blocked everything out, and just stared outside.
~ a week later ~
I was still sitting in my window seat, I hadn't moved for a week (except obviously going to the toilet a few times). I knew my mom was really worried, but I didn't really pay attention, I didn't really care about much right now. I was hungry, but I didn't care. I heard you can last up to three weeks without eating. I had drank water though, I had a couple of water bottles next to me, so I was quite hydrated. I didn't feel so good though, my stomach was empty, my head was hurting, and not to mention I probably stunk. I hadn't showered in a week. I have an on-suite bathroom, with a toilet but no shower or bath, it was annoying. I finally decided to stand up, but I felt dizzy when I did and the whole room seemed to be spinning, I took a few shaky steps towards my closet, and grabbed some clothes out. I picked out a pair of black jeans, a white top with a black eifel tower on it and a kahki jacket. I then shakily walked towards the door, silently opening it hoping my mom wouldn't hear me. However, I was out of luck as my mom was sitting outside my door.
"Blair! Oh my goodness I've been so worried!" She exclaimed.
"Don't worry yourself, I'm fine." I told her, walking to the bathroom and closing the door behind me.
I showered and the warm water against my skin felt great, I felt clean again. I put on the clothes that I picked out before and then opened the bathroom door, and seen my mom standing there. I wasn't surprised.
"Blair. I'm sorry, but everything I told you.. it is true," she said and i just looked at her and tilted my head to the side,
"I don't know what you're talking about," I shrugged and ran into my room and slammed and locked the door before she could stop me. I sighed and sat back down on my window seat and closed my eyes. I became bored soon though, I'm not just sitting here all my life I thought.
I walked towards my bed and grabbed a book I had been reading earlier, but I slammed it back down on its face when I seen it was twilight. Of course.
I really didn't know what to think of all this.. it seemed like some sick, weird crazy prank.. but it was real. It had to be. My mom.. the candles.. how could I ignore the evidence?
3rd Person P.O.V
Blair was sitting on her window seat again, doodling in her sketch book. She is the crafty type who likes drawing and sketching and crafty things.
Meanwhile, her mom, Hazel, was worriedly pacing up and down her living room. She was really concerned, Blair hadn't eaten for a week, she was in shock... Finally after debating with herself, she picked up her phone and dialed a number. One ring.. two rings... three ring..
"Hazel? Is that you?" The voice asked from the other end of the line.
"Damon, yes, it's urgent," she replied and took a seat on the couch,
"You need to come. Here." she told him.
"What? Why? I'm not supposed to come for ages yet? Has something happened? " Damon asked concerned.
"No- well kind of. I told Blair everything, and she freaked out, she locked herself in her room and she only came out a few hours ago for the first time in a week! Then she locked herself back in her room! She hasn't eaten for a week Damon, I'm really worried." Hazel rushed in a panic.
"Woah, slow down, she's been in there for a week?!" He asked.
"Yes. And she came out for the first time a few hours ago, but now she's back in there," she exclaimed.
"Oh dear. When do you need me to come?" He asked.
"As soon as possible," Hazel replied.
"As soon as possible as in... today?" He asked.
"Yes."
"What?! It's a bit short notice don't you think?!" He shrieked.
"Damon please, I need your help. Blair needs your help. She's not listening to me, you might be able to help us, please," Hazel pleaded.
Damon sighed, he knew it was the right thing to do for his daughter.
"Okay okay, I'll be there as soon as I can,"
