Blair's P.O.V
We had just arrived at the airport, it was actually quite busy which surprised me, seeing as though it's like, 2am. But maybe this was not busy for an airport... I don't know what I'm talking about! I had never been to one before!
It was freezing, like seriously, I thought it was supposed to be hot in summer. It didn't help that I just had a little khaki jacket on, all my other coats were in my suitcase.
"Haven't you got a coat?" Damon asked.
"Yes. In my suitcase." I responded, looking around at my surroundings. It was quite overwhelming the amount of people here, but maybe it was the fact that I had never been in an airport before and I knew that I was going to be on a plane for the first time. I was one of them sad teenagers that has never left their hometown.
"Do you want to wear my coat?" Damon offered but I shook my head.
"No. I'm fine." I said.
We were queuing to check in or something, but Damon got impatient. He put his hand on my shoulder which caused me to flinch, and I shrugged his hand off me. He then he lead me past the que so we were both at the front and everybody gave us annoyed looks.
"I'm sorry sir, there is a que, please join the back of the line," a woman with a whiny voice demanded. Damon ignored what she said and leaned closer to her, looking into the woman's eyes.
"I'm sure you can make an exception." He said and her expression turned into a friendly smile.
"You're right." She chirped and I furrowed my eyebrows... now that was weird.
Then, she asked to see our passports and she started asking me questions."How old are you?" She asked.
"Why do you want to know?" I retorted and she scowled at me. I do not like revealing personal information to people, never mind strangers, you never know where it could get you.
"So I can see if it matches what it says in your passport," she snapped and I glared at her.
"I'm 14, nearly 15 if you must know, what about you?" I smirked and then she glared at me whilst Damon snickered.
"Did you pack the luggage yourself?" She continued.
"Yes." I stated.
"Is there any sharp items in your luggage,"
"Nope."
Then, she soon gave us our boarding passes, and I frowned when I had to put my suitcase on the conveyor belt."Don't worry, you'll get it back." Damon told me as we walked away. Then, there were these security things that we had to walk through.
"What are they?!" I asked.
"You just need to walk through it. It's just to check nobody is carrying anything dangerous," Damon replied.
"What if it beeps on me?" I frowned.
"Are you carrying a knife? Anything sharp?" He asked and I shook my head.
"Then you'll be fine, go on, walk through," he said, so I walked through, and it didn't beep, hooray! Damon walked through too and it beeped, which made me laugh.
"Sorry sir, we are going to have to check you're not carrying anything dangerous," a man said holding this stick thing.
Damon sighed, the man used the stick thing and scanned it against him to check for the dangerous items."Sorry sir, it was just a mistake," the man apologised and Damon huffed and walked towards me.
"Come on," he said and I laughed.
"You'll be fine. Go on. Walk through." I mimicked him from earlier.
We had been walking around the airport for a while, we were early for our flight. My legs were tired and I was still hungry. I smiled and took my backpack from my back and opened it up.
