23- open sesame

Blair's P.O.V

"Ciao amici!" I announced in a sing song voice as I speed walked towards the bar where Klaus and Gloria were. (Ciao amici is Italian for hello friends). Dancing people surrounded me and music was playing; it was much busier than earlier. Klaus' jaw dropped when he looked at all the shopping bags. He was about to speak but I cut him off.

"Now that I have made my grand entrance.. I now present to you.. The one.. The only.. The annoying.. The irritating.. Kollllll Mikaelson!" I yelled in a commentator voice and then Kol appeared beside me after making his smug entrance.

"Hello Nik." He greeted Klaus and Klaus just looked surprised to see him as well as confused.

"Evening, Kol. What are you doing here?" He asked him.

"Hm, I got bored." Kol shrugged and I was thankful that he didn't mention anything about my dad.

"Sure." Klaus muttered rolling his eyes and Kol frowned and took a seat.

"Well look what the wind blew in. Last I heard you hated this place." Gloria said to Kol.

"Gloria. Damn if I knew you were going to age like this I would have stuck around." He replied and she laughed.

"You always were my favourite original." She told him and I scoffed.

"Seriously? Elijah and Rebekah are so much cooler." I said and their attention turned to me. Klaus looked back at the shopping bags and sighed.

"Seriously? More shopping?" He asked me.

"You haven't got another suitcase have you?" He asked with a groan and I rolled my eyes.

"No. In fact these are Christmas presents." I told him and he grinned.

"Aww.. You didn't have to buy me all of that." He told me and I pulled a sarcastic smile at him.

"Don't inflate your ego even more. It's not all for you." I told him and he frowned at me.

"Well I don't know when you're planning on giving them to people because last time I checked.. All your friends and family were in mystic falls." He told me and I glared at him.

"Christmas is next month-" I began and Klaus cut me off.

"And who knows whether our road trip will be over by then?" He interrupted and I closed my eyes and took a deep breath of anger.

"Well, it's all great that Kol is here but I think you may have got your siblings mixed up. I asked for Rebekah." Gloria told us.

"Yeah.. Slight problem." Klaus began and she sighed.

"Rebekah lost her necklace." I told her, going behind the bar and putting my shopping bags in a small room in the back. Then I placed a cute little cactus lamp on the table behind the bar, it was a housewarming gift.

"I thought it would be a nice touch." I told Gloria and she laughed.

"Very thoughtful. Anyway, about the necklace.. I'm afraid I can't contact the original witch without it." She told us whilst I poured myself a glass of bourbon.

"What about if I can track down the necklace? See where it is?" I asked and everybody looked at each other as if silently discussing my idea.

"That wouldn't work. You would need a.. Connection to the necklace." Gloria replied and I smiled and walked towards the wall of pictures.
