Chapter 14: Passing Seasons

3rd POV:

Many things have changed for the trio since that fateful day in the park where everything seems to center around for all three of them as so many changes for their lives have their starting points at the isolated park. The day where Izuku's mask of indifference ended up breaking for the first time is just one example of change that had been initiated in the park over the years since that day but neither of the tri could say that they hated the change it brought due to how close they all became but that isn't to say that Izuku doesn't still wear his mask of indifference in front of others because he does still wear it but just not when it's the three of them alone. Now it has even reached the point that Izuku had agreed to start going to both of their homes and meet their families as well.

Now the duo would admit if asked that their families did take a few days of Izuku coming over to warm up to him due to his mask of indifference in front of them all since he didn't trust them like he trusted the duo. Though you can't really blame Izuku for not automatically trusting the adults due to his past and the fact that the only adult in his life he could truly trust was his mother as his own father betrayed him by selling him off into slavery as well as murdering Inko Midoriya. Anyway, back to the explanation of what had changed over the years to the point in time that they were now at. As Izuku continued to go to the homes of both of the duo's, the families warned up to Izuku on a quicker scale as they saw that Izuku wasn't just a kid that wanted to use their family name for his own benefit... No, they saw a kid that was shut off from the rest of the world and was being led by the children of their families who were trying to help Izuku Midoriya open up to the rest of the world.

As Izuku would go to their houses more and more the families continued to grow attached to Izuku and it reached a point that the mothers would start showering Izuku with affection that typical mothers would tend to display which resulted in a unique situation since both families were gathered together one afternoon about half a year since Izuku had started to appear at their homes. Izuku mask on this day ended up slipping later that afternoon as Ozy's and Zahra's mothers both were spoiling and dotting on Izuku since he had offered to help them clean the dishes but while they were doing that, Izuku's eyes started to tear up without him noticing. This caused the two mothers to worry about him and wondered if they had done something wrong but Izuku just told them that they reminded Izuku of his deceased mother which resulted in the two mothers hugging him even more. The two did know about Izuku's mother being deceased since their children had warned them before Izuku had started to show up at their homes so that they wouldn't say something rude. 

Though the duo knew more than what they were letting on about Izuku's living arrangements. The day that Izuku had first let his mask down, he had of course tipped them off that he was in an unsafe living environment so they had started to dig into his past and present as safely as they could without topping anyone off. They of course didn't discover anything that was one-hundred percent proof of an unsafe environment but they were able to put together a timeline of events that had happened in Japan and then translated into America. The duo was downright thankful that Izuku had been teaching them how to speak, read, and write in Japanese since they had used those skills to search for Izuku and his family back in Japan. They ended up discovering that Izuku had actually been reported missing in Japan but the case went cold while the case of Inko and Hisashi Midoriya was still open they were cold as well. Though they had some more details such as the fact that Hisashi Midoriya died from what is believed to be a villain attack that sucked him dry of life but Inko Midoriya was a case of questions as there was no visible cause of death that anyone could find.

After they put together the events in Japan they moved on towards the events that started to happen in America after Izuku's arrival. Now with the information from Japan in mind, Ozy and Zhara started to make a timeline of the events in America which was somewhat straightforward for them to do. The reason this was easier to do was due to the fact that they would always help Izuku with his mental breaks so they were able to narrow down their searches in America to things that would be around his mental breaks that they helped with because they were sure he didn't have them with anyone else. As such, they followed a string of cases that appeared to connect back to Izuku as the duo had a theory that had two possible answers. The theory was that Izuku's quirk description was a lie or that the individuals that currently hold Izuku have the quirk that causes people to be sucked dry due to the same thing that happened to Hisashi was now going on in America. Though the duo believed that it was Izuku's quirk that was the right answer and that he was being used as a weapon and healer at the same time since they knew Izuku could heal but it was likely far more powerful than it was being let known since powerful healing quirks gather a lot of attention.
