3rd POV:

It has been several months since Izuku, Zahra, and Ozy have all started their first semester of hero training at Ashwood Academy. During this time, Izuku could honestly say that it was an institution that was worthy and deserving of its position as a World Hero Association school for being able to push him even further in his training in ways that he didn't even think of exploring or recognizing gaps that he had due to his time with the Corona family. During the initial months, Izuku kept surpassing all of the physical training benchmarks that the staff would put together for his physical training so they had to sit down with Izuku and worked on a specialized training regime for him to work on so that he would be pushed. The biggest factor in this training plan though was the fact that they had equipped Izuku with a quirk suppressant wristband. The reason for this wristband was due to the fact that through some testing they had discovered that Izuku's quirk was more or less on 24/7 in the back of his mind. The result of this was that his subconscious mind would pull vitality from trees or other plants that were within his range as he always used humans as a last resort method unless he was fighting against an opponent. As such, Izuku's quirk was constantly resupplying him with an extremely slow rate of energy that he didn't even notice but in the long run of physical training it had an incredible affect. As Izuku kept training, his body would automatically slowly heal his muscles which just sped up the rate of physical activity and body workout that he did but there was a drawback to this though.

As Izuku was constantly training and was used to having his energy resupplied even on a subconscious level, this meant that he didn't know what it felt like to lose energy on a constant rate without being resupplied. Izuku was honestly surprised to learn of such a feature of his quirk since he had thought that he had learned of all of the usage that his quirk had to it. The reason he thought this wasn't due to arrogance of having such a powerful quirk or anything but it was due to how many 'tests' and research went into studying his quirk by the doctors that Rage employed in the Corona Family since Rage wanted to reap enough out of Izuku to earn back all of the money he so 'kindly' invested into him when he bought Izuku from the auction. As such, Izuku had thought that everything that could be known about his quirk had already been discovered through all of theses tests and didn't think of trying to find anything else out but only just improving what he already knew about it.

With this new aspect of his quirk found and being suppressed so he could train differently, it did take him some time to adjust to his new training since he couldn't just rely on his quirk to supplement his energy like he was so used to doing so. As such, Izuku was experiencing a pure drain on his energy reserves like any other normal person would and wouldn't last as long as he typically would when he was performing such intense training. Izuku did listen to his homeroom teacher explain why training like he was now was extremely important for him to be doing. The man explained that during Izuku's time with the Corona family, Izuku had been taught to in a way that made him heavily reliant on his quirk and that he needed to more or less put people down in a permeant fashion which he couldn't do as a hero in regards to both issues that the teacher brought up. "Being reliant on your quirk can lead to your death if you are ever in a situation in which you couldn't use it and you weren't used to not being able to use it in your fighting style. Let's take a Underground Pro Hero from your native country, Japan. In this country there is a Pro hero by the name of ...." The teacher was saying but then got cut off by Izuku who said the heroes name as Eraserhead and gave a short description of the quirk and theorized limits and abilities. Izuku's homeroom teacher rolled his eyes a bit and reminded Izuku to raise his hand before interrupting his teachers which Izuku nodded his head at before letting his teacher continue.

"As I was saying, Eraserhead can stop your quirk so you wouldn't be able to end the fight straight away unless you got him first. Even then, there can be other quirks that potentially could render yours unable to effect them. For example, we have no idea what would happen if someone had a quick that allowed them to be untouchable or if someone could pass through objects or something else. Would you still be able to get them if they were still in your range or would they not be picked up? You must prepare for all encounters." said Izuku's homeroom teacher and Izuku nodded his head as the man then went on to explain why Izuku can't just drop people to near death states all of the time. For example, the reason it was being brought up was due to a training they had with the other classes during the past few months where Izuku had done just as the teacher mentioned. Izuku had drained his opponents of all of their energy to a point they were nearly dead but then healed them back up when the match was called. It went roughly like this as Izuku was put against several students in another class in a two versus one simulation for getting experience in fighting against multiple people... Izuku used his quirk right away as the staff person announced that the fight was starting which resulted in the two opponents just dropping to the ground and looking completely wrinkled and old. Those said students now completely avoid Izuku like the plague as well which isn't something that the staff wants to spread to others students as well so they have those two in therapy from their near death experience.
