"So," started Sprout as she straightened a pile of parchment on her desk, "This is just a chat regarding any career ideas or questions you might have, and advice about what subjects you should continue into your size and seventh year." Layed out around her were countless pamphlets provided by different wizarding employers. Right on top was one displaying the St Mungo's logo of the crossed bone and wand.

Persephone nodded as she reached a hand to grasp at the top pamphlet. Running her finger across the glossy picture of the hospital, she couldn't help but smile.

"I would love to be a healer, specifically a healer in the Potions and Plant Poisonings Ward or in the Janus Thickney Ward."

Sprout chuffed, her cheeks growing red as her smile grew. "Yes, I believe you would be very suited for that career, very much so indeed. Now, Madame Pomfrey has a weekly class I guess you could call it, every Tuesday at 7pm, where she teaches an Introduction to Healing course. This isn't a requirement for St. Mungos, but many past students who are employed as healers recommend it. I can sign you up for next year if you would like?"

Persephone nodded eagerly. Being a healer was something Persephone had always wanted to do. She had fond memories of her childhood, coming home after a full moon to her dad all bloody and bruised, who she later coved in countless bandages and kisses. She doubted now they did much to relieve any of his pain, but at least it made the both of them smile. She had also spent countless hours, rested on top of the beds of both Alice and Frank as she read them story after story and receiving nothing but gum wrappers in return.

"What happens after school Professor, if I want to be a healer?"

"So after you finish, you will have one year in St Mungo's School for Trainee Healers - this is where you learn all your basic healer content. After this, you have three years as a trainee healer where you work alongside other healers in all the wards. Despite this, if you show a significant aptitude for a certain aspect of healing they may shorten this time frame. After that, you move onto regular healer duties."

Persephone nodded, flipping mindlessly through the pamphlet as she listened.

Sprout took a sip of tea from her cup before continuing, "now, in terms of N.E.W.T marks, you will need an E in Potions, Herbology, Transfiguration, Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, which I don't have any concerns for," she said as she looked at a piece of paper with her recorded grades. "You are only just resting on an E for Potions though, so make sure you put in a few extra hours which I know you are already doing in order to get up to an O for Snape's pre-requisite."

"Okay, and what about Muggle Studies, Astronomy, History of Magic and Ancient Runes?" Persephone asked, referring to her current class timetable.

Sprout shrugged, "it is up to you, your workload will already be considerably heavy and theory-based. If you wanted to keep them you could but it would be advisable to drop most if not all of them. You seem to enjoy Ancient Runes quite a bit?"

"Okay, thank you, professor."

"It is my pleasure," said Sprout as she combined all of Persephone's paperwork into a dirt-stained folder.

Persephone smiled as she began to push back her chair. "Ah I have one more thing to talk to you about," Taken back, Persephone sat back down and pushed in her seat, the legs accidentally making a loud noise as they dragged along the concrete floor of her office within Greenhouse 5.

"A member of our house has come forward about your friendship with Fred Weasley, or 'Hades', as he was referred by."

She could have laughed, of course it was Cedric. Her blood ran thick with anger at the very thought.
