Zephyr's Wizard101 Adventure

Chapter 1 - More Out There

My life was a basic one, I start the day by getting up out of bed, I then go to school and afterwards I go home and I do the same thing the next day. When the jr school let out for graduation me and my friends got to the gate of the school and we started running to our local game store to open card packs from our favorite game wizard101

The store clerk saw us coming from down the streets and I swear, I saw her smile as we came into the store. She looked at us and said "what can I do for you kids, or do I really have to ask?"

I looked at her and said proudly "We want the latest wizard101 packs, 5 packs each please." The store clerk looked at us and gave us the packs after we chipped in together to pay for the 15 packs. After that we sat at the table and piled the packs in the middle of the 3 of us. After that we settled on who got to pick first by arm wrestling each other but it was easy for me since my friends always put so much strength from the start, I am able to out last them and take the win. My friend Kaia took 2nd so we all picked our packs and got ready to open them. When I opened my first pack I got a centaur along with a fire cat spell, fairy, sprite and even a thunder snake. I was excited for the thunder snake card since I love the storm spells even though my friends tell me that I should play with a better school of cards since the storm spells have the lowest accuracy out of all the spells, but I like them since they are able to attack multiple targets. Afterwards we traded our cards with each other and I was able to get more storm cards and then we left the store and went to our separate homes. That was when everything changed for the weird for me.

When I got home I sat down in my room in front of my computer and booted up the Wizard101 game that I always played after school but then all I saw was a bright light and found myself falling and then I found myself on my face on some sort of stone floor.

As I gathered myself I heard a strange voice that said "excuse me sir but I think you dropped your wand sir."

I looked up and saw a girl standing in front of me and she was holding a stick towards me as I got up I was confused as I took the wand from the girl I said to her "thank you, but do you know where I am?"

The girl looked at me at me like I was some sort of weirdo and said "you are in the Commons area which is located in the world known as Wizard's City."

She then looked at me and was puzzled by my confused expression and asked me if I was ok which I replied "Are you crazy, Wizard's City is not a real place, it is just a location with in a game, there is no way this is real." All she did was just laugh and left and I just stood there and was completely confused, there I was in a world that I thought was only a game but now it looked like I was stuck in a world of magic and wizards.

I walked around the area trying to figure out what had happened to me till I heard a girl screaming "the undead ghosts are attacking!"

When I heard the scream I did what I thought was right and ran to her to protect her and that was when I saw 3 undead ghosts chasing her. When they got close to us a magic circle appeared and I knew what that meant, I had to battle the monsters but the girl jumped in as well so luckily I was not on my own.

Luckily, I had the first draw and I saw that I only had the starting cards so I just used my fire cat to attack the ghost and after a while me and the girl defeated the ghosts and the crowd that had been watching us battle the ghost cheered as they were now safe for now. That was when an old man with a white beard walked over. When I saw him I recognized him as the headmaster of Ravenwood Merle Ambrose.

He looked at me and said, "Well done young wizard, you handled yourself in that battle pretty well, now tell me your name young wizard and where did you come from?"

I explained to him who I was and that I came from a place called Earth and the look on his face surprised me, he didn't look at me like I was crazy and I was even more shocked when he said, "ah, I never thought I would meet another person that came from Earth."

When he finished talking I stood there because I was stunned when I heard him say another and he took me to his office and he introduced me to his best student and I was shocked to come face to face with my friend Kaia.

Ambrose looked at me and said "it is time you learned about the Spiral young wizard."
