When I woke up on Saturday morning it was about half 9. I stared at the ceiling for a while before I decided to head downstairs.

"Morning." I say to mom who was sat at the island eating some fruit. "Morning sweetheart." She says barely looking up from her phone.

I make some coffee and then walk over to the fridge to see what to have for breakfast. "I'm going to have to run to work this morning, we can go shopping as soon as I get back. I won't be too long though." Mom says jumping up. "Uh okay." I say and she smiles before rushing upstairs.

I sat at the island slowly drinking my coffee. Once I finished my coffee I had some cereal and decided to watch some tv till mom came running downstairs. "See you later." She says kissing my forehead and rushing out the door.

I went upstairs and had a shower. Once I got out of the shower I blow dried my hair and just left it alone. I got dressed into some black jeans and put a random t-shirt on before heading into Josh's room.

I walk over to his closet and open it to see he had hung up a few items of clothing. I found one of his old hoodies in one of his boxes. I pull it out and then fling it over my shoulder.

"You could've at least knocked." Josh groan whilst trying to block out the noise. "Yeah, no." I say heading over to the door.

"Hey I'm gonna wear this." I say and he flies his one arm around lazily to show he doesn't care. "Keep it." He grumbles and I smile and head back into my room.

I take my t-shirt off and put the hoodie on before doing my eyebrows and mascara. I straighten out my room before throwing my hair into a lazy messy hun.

I head downstairs to watch some tv when Josh comes and sits beside me. "Where's mom?" He asks taking the remote from my hand. "She's gone to work. She said she wouldn't be too long though." I say and he sighs.

I snatch the remote back from him and continue to try and find something to watch.

"Do you want to go for a drive? I haven't drove in ages." Josh complains and I look over at him. "Come on." He moans. "Fine." I say and jump up off the sofa.

I put on my white Nike Air Force and then grab my keys from the dish which Josh snatches from my hand. "I'm driving." He says as if I didn't already know.

"Yeah whatever, just make sure you lock up." I say and he nods.

I step out of the house with Josh and he locks the front door for me.

I get into the passenger seat of the Jeep while Josh gets into the drivers seat. He adjusts the windows and seat to his liking whilst looking around the car. "It's a mess." He complains and I just roll my eyes. "It's only a few coffee cups. I can assure you it was t this messy before we left LA." I say and he rolls his eyes.

"You need to clean it." He says as he reverses off of the drive. "I will, I will." I reassure him.

"This is weird." Josh says as he tries to find his way around town. "What is?" I ask him just looking out the window.

"The whole situation." He says and I take a shaky breath. "I don't want to talk about it." I shut the conversation down immediately.

"Are you okay though?" Josh asks and I nod. "Fine."  I say focusing on the passing trees. "You sure?" He asks and I just nod.

"It's not me you need to be worrying about anyway. If you want to worry about someone worry about mom." I say and he glances over to me with a confused expression.

"She might've been the one to move us away but it's affecting her harder than it is me." I say shrugging.

"What about Abby? How is she? Have you spoke to her?" He asks and I just sigh. "No. Im not allowed to." I say and he nods. "She text me on Instagram a few times. She's sad. She has no clue why you dropped her." He says and I sigh again. "Well it's better she thinks I dropped her then the truth." I say and he sighs.
