07| Lily's Hangover

I jumped up after seeing Alex's cocky smirk in my sleep. Why? I hate him. He's a dick, why can't he just get out of my head.

I lied in bed just staring at the ceiling for ages. I just wish I never went to that party so it doesn't have to be awkward with Kyle.

I finally got out of bed and went downstairs following a beautiful smell.

"Morning." I say when I see my mom was already dressed and ready for the day and making pancakes. "Ah good morning." She says walking round the island to kiss my forehead.

I take a seat at the island as my mom gives me some coffee and some orange juice. "So how was it last night?" She asks as I take a sip of the coffee. "Quite boring if im honest." I say and she smiles at me sympathetically.

"Im sure there will be more parties that will be more exciting." She says and I shrug. I do not want to be going to any more parties.

Mom serves me up some pancakes which I eat with fresh fruit.

Once I was finished eating I helped her clean up. "Have you got any plans today?" She asks and I shake my head no. "Not that I know of. Probably just going to be me, my bed and Netflix." I say and she laughs and nods. "Alright I think I'll go grocery shopping soon." She says and I smile.

Mom kisses my forehead before I head upstairs. I have a shower before french braiding my hair and then putting on some leggings and one of Josh's old hoodies.

I sit on my bed once I had made it and grab my laptop. As soon as I started watching the vampire diaries my phone began to ring. Lily.

I- Hey.
L- Hi.
I- Are you alright?
L- Nope. I'm hungover and hungry. Also do you want me to come round and get my stuff?
I- I can take them to you, if you'd like.
L- Oh my god, would you? You're a star.
I- Alright well I'll be over soon.
L- Okay, thank you
*call ends*

So instead of watching vampire diaries I climbed back out of bed. Lily's bags were ready to go I just had to put some shoes on.

Once my converse where on I grabbed my phone and put it in my hoodie pocket. I grab her bags and head down to the kitchen.

"Mom!" I call when I notice she wasn't in the kitchen. "Yeah?" She shouts back. "Im heading to Lily's, I'll be back soon!" I shout whilst grabbing my car keys. "Okay have fun!" She shouts.

I head into my car and put Lily's bag on the passenger seat.

I head to the coffee store that I'll be starting work at tomorrow. I grab some muffins and coffee before heading straight to Lily's place.

When I get there, I ring the door bell.

"Shhh." Lily complains whilst inviting me in and taking her bag from me. The inside of Lily's house is exactly how I'd imagine it to be. It's as modern on the outside as it is on the inside.

I follow her up to her room, which screams Lily's character.

She climbs back into bed whilst dropping her bag to the floor. She taps a side of her bed. I kick off my shoes and hand Lily a coffee and a muffin.

"Do you know how much I love you right now?" She asks whilst taking a sip of her coffee. "Better be a lot." I say and she scoffs. "Obviously. You're beating Ethan today, I told him I was hungover but he has plans with Kyle so won't come over." Lily says.

The second Kyle's name is mentioned I immediately cringe.

"Speaking of Kyle." Lily says picking at her muffin. "Lets not speak of Kyle." I say and shiver awkwardly.
