She stepped outside the haveli and ran across the garden making the Sun smile. The ray of the Sun on her face was making her shining like a gold. Her dupatta kept caressing the flowers as she passed them away.
"Bondita didi rukooo....." Tapur screamed from behind.
"Samay or Bondita kisi k lia nehi rukti Tapur...." Bondita turned back and replied.
"Are didi bata k to ja....." Tapur said panting as she came running behind Bondita.
"Ishhhh.... Abhi nehi Tapur...." Bondita said shyly and again her feet went back to running.
"Ye.... Didi vhi na.... Pagal hae pagal...." Tapur exclaimed.
"Pyaar meeeeee...." Bondita said screaming back.
Her feet stopped near the river bank as a huge grin crept on her lips. The boatmen rowing the boats back to bank as the golden Sun is about to go home for today. The fishes dancing in the water as if being a part of her happiness. The children playing in the river sprinkled water on her seeing her lost in dreams.
"Badmash.....bachcho...." Bondita said smirking.
"Kiu didi aj vhi kya apne Piya k intezar me ho?" A little girl came and teased her.
Bondita holded her ears and twist it a bit and replied being fake angry," Zuban bohot chalti hae Tumhari....hae...!"
"Are didi...chor do dard ho raha hae.... Ab me kya karu.... Hamesha ek jesi hu... Apki tarah thori na apne piya k samne jatehi mumeh tala bandhlu?" The little girl replied while Bondita blushed.
"Chup.... Bandaria...chal ghar jake parai kar..." Bondita said releasing her ears.
"Achcha.... Muje bagah rehi ho...... Thik hae thik hae... Samaj te hae.... Akele samay bita na hae kiu? Unke sath?" The girl replied.
Bondita took her sandal in her hands and act to beat her," tumhe to me....".
"Are chali me chali.... Tum raho aya apni Salim ki Anarkali...." The girl replied and rushed to her room.
"Salim....." Bondita said blushingly.
Umar ka yeh taana baana
Samajh na paaye re
Zubaan pe jo moh maaya
Namak lagaye re
After the children gave her the privacy her eyes went towards the other side of the river, as she looked for him...hmm....her Piya...sounds better.
"Are Mere Salim Sahab abh avhi jayiye.... Kitna intezar karayenge apni Anarkali ka...." Bondita said dramatically to herself.
"Are o meye.... Shondha somoi ki korish akhane?" A lady asked seeing her alone beside the river bank in the evening.
