"Ek akhri bar apko gale laga sakti hu?" Bondita asked.
"Bondita....tum...." Anirudh couldn't say more rather he opened his arms indicating her to hug him.
Bondita wiped her tears and slowly made her way towards him. She wrapped her hands around his torso and kept her head on his chest. While Anirudh caged her safely in his arms. Both inhaled their fragnance as if it was their lonely medicine to their devastated heart.
"Kuch kehna hae tumhe?" He said and kissed her hairs softly.
"Patibabu....." She said while he hummed.
"Patibabu...." She said and snuggled more to his chest. Anirudh could clearly feel her hot breath on his bare chest through the holes of his shirt. He again hummed as he tightened her grip on her.
"Patibabu......" She whispered and Anirudh made her completely lean on her not even for air to pass.
"Bolo....Bondita...me sun raha hu...." Anirudh said.
"Ajke badh nehi sunenge.... "Patibabu".... Ye shabdh...." She spoke.
Anirudh understood why she was calling him Patibabu so many times. His eyes escaped the tears that drenched her hairs a little.
"Patibabu....patibabu....patibabu...." She screamed and let out a cry. It was painful. But there is a saying "No pain, No gain".

"Bondita.....tum ese kamzoor par jaogi...to me kese rahunga...." Anirudh asked.
"Apne sach kaha tha Pati.... Mera matlab Biris.... barrister babu.... Hamara sath hona na mumkin hae.... Jese rail ki do patri sath rehte hae...lekin mil nehi sakte.... Vese hi Bondita or A..ni...ru..dh kabhi nehi mil sakte...." Bondita said and broke the hug.
Anirudh still holded her by waist while she was standing on his feet. Both looked into each others eyes as if they wanted to speak a thousands of words but their vocabulary system was not helping them.
"Ek bar pherse bolo...." Anirudh asked.
"Patibabu......." She called softly.
"Or mera nam?" He said.
"Kuch der badh sayed usse lene me taklif or jayada hogi..... Islia aj pehli bar lia hae..." She replied.

"To batayiye Bondita ji.... Kya ap raji hae Barrister babu ki is feslese?" The panchayat asked.
Bondita didn't say anything rather she made her way to her room making everyone confused.
"Bondita....." Anirudh whispered.
"Dekha Anirudh ! Kya kar dia tune apne fitoor me... Jo Bondita bina bole... Bina tark kia ek vhi second nehi reh sakti... Aj sawal puchne par vhi jabab na dekar chali gayi? Anirudh kab samjega tu Bondita ki bhabnao ko? Anirudh hum keh rehe hae.... Bahu ki is pyar ki tar ko itna mat kich ki ek din to tar tut jaye... Or yaad rakhna agar vho tar ek bar tut gaya na to kabhi bhi nehi jorega..." Kaka screamed.
"Kiu Anirudh babu? Apki patni.... Ohoo maf karna ap to Bondita ji ko apni patni mantehi nehi. Sirf Zimmedar hae na vho apki?...Tsk Tsk dukh pochtahe apki kismat par Anirudh babu.... Itni Sundar patni hokar vhi ap unse picha churvhana chahte ..hae....kher choriye.... To hum keh rehe the... Bondita ji ne to kuch vhi nehi kaha ki apse vho apna rishta torna chahti hae ya nehi? To kya nirnay hae apka?" One of the man from panchayet asked.
"Dekhiye me Bondita se...." Anirudh was cut off by the sweet sound of the anklets. He turned and saw Bondita dressed absolutely like a bride and a luggage in her hand.
"Bahu? Ye sab? Tum ese dulhan ki tarah kiu saji ho? Or ye luggage ?" Kaka asked panicking.
"Kaka sasurji.... Jab me is ghar me pehli bar ayi thi... Tab me ek nayi dulhan bankar ayi thi.... Or jab rishta tut raha hae.... To vhi me dulhan bankar hi is ghar se jana chahti hu...." Bondita replied.
Anirudh stood numb. His eyes stuck on his wife who was wrapping herself in a red gorgeous banarasee saree with heavy golden ornaments. The bright red sindur in her partition and the sakha pola in her hand screams saying she is His Bride.
The panchayat got its answer. They exchanged glances with each other with a evil grin on their lips.
Bondita looked at Anirudh who was looking at her with pure love and pain. She forced herself and curved her lip rosy lips into a beautiful smile.

"Two rooms please......" Bondita said to the manager.
"Two rooms for you and ?" The manager asked laying bad eye on Bondita.
"Hmm...make it one.." Anirudh replied as he came from behind and wrapped one arm around her shoulder smiling warmly at her.
"Oh...newly married ? Congratulations ! " The manager said and gave them the key to room.
Both Anirudh Bondita looked at each other with teary eyes and intertwining their hands reached their room.
