After we walked out of the city, far away from other people, we made a plan. The first thing to do, was to get Autumn to safety, which unfortunately made the future plans (which I still don't know what they are) harder or better said 'longer' is what he said.
But I don't care about that. The only thing that is important to me right now, is that we get my sister to her aunt, which she hasn't seen in years. It is risky because I have no idea if she will say yes to taking care of her since the Tonovački's hasn't been in contact with her for a really long time. From what I know, I was the reason behind that. She wasn't completely happy about her sister fostering a random Grisha. Not because she had anything against them, but because other people in the village hated Grisha which could lead to... Well, exactly what had happened. Well, I hope she will take her in, because it is not Autumn's fault that it happened.
"Ember, I'm hungry." Autumn said out of nowhere.
"We don't have any food sweetie. You can eat when we get to our destination." I replied while looking at her since we ate the last piece of bread Mrs. Tonovački gave me before I ran away.
On our luck, her aunt wasn't that far away from the fold. But we do have to move a little norther first instead of just going where The Darkling is planning on us going later.
"Where is this destination exactly?" The Darkling asked.
"We are going to this small village just a bit norther next to the fold. It's where Autumn's aunt lives..."
"I have an aunt!?" Autumn questioned.
"Yeah, you know. Aunt Dahlia? You probably don't remember much of her since you were really young when she moved here..."
"So you are basically giving her to a complete stranger." he laughed out.
"No! Dahlia knows us, Autumn doesn't know her though..."
The more we talked about it, the more it seemed like a bad idea. But it's better than taking her with us, right?
"But I don't want to go to aunt Dahlia, I want to stay with you!" my little sister pled.
"I know sweetie, but it's just that it's note safe. Especially when you are with me! You saw what happened to our house because of me!"
"But you said that the reason you left was to keep us safe! Did that help?"
After Autumn said that, all three of us fell into a complete silence.
"It did not. But the problem with that was that they knew I lived there and that you guys were my family. They however, do not know about Dahlia." Excuses, excuses. She wanted to say something else but I beat her to it "We are bringing you to your aunt! End of discussion!" I said finally.
I knew she would be mad at me after that, but I did what was best for her... At least I hope so...

After a couple of hours, we finally reached Dahlias house. It was in located a little further away from some little village, which made our situation a bit easier. I stopped at the porch to collect myself and took a deep breath "Okay Ember, calm down. She will take her in, after all it's not Autumn who she hates.." I mumbled to myself.
I walked towards the doors, Autumn and The Darkling right on my heels. I raised my hand and knocked on the door three times. After a minut (the longest minut of my life), the door finally opened. There she stood, the woman who would actually hate me after finding out what happened...
