It is currently 5am on a sunny Tuesday morning at the Kirk household!
Jake and Alex are awake for the day while the seven Kirk kids Scarlett, Aurora, Levi, Avery, Ruby, Kai and Taytum are all still fast asleep for another few hours before the older five have to get ready for school!
Scarlett, Aurora, Levi, Avery and Ruby have all been having a great school year so far! Scarlett is in third grade, Aurora is in second grade, Levi is in kindergarten, Avery is in pre-kindergarten and Ruby is in Headstart!
The two Kirk dogs, Dorothy and Lucky are both still fast asleep on Jake and Alex's king size master bed, something they do every single night unless the kids want the dogs to sleep with them.
Meanwhile the four Kirk cats - Swifty, Kacey, Gaga, Underwood are all still sleeping in one of their big cat towers that is also in Jake and Alex's bedroom!
Alex is still laying down in the king size bed, cuddling with Dorothy while Lucky lays down by his feet. Jake is in the bathroom secretly taking a pregnant test.
Jake and Alex have recently talked about having one more baby to even things up since Alex doesn't like odd numbers while Jake finds the number seven very cute.
A few weeks ago, Jake's mom and stepdad were in town visiting and they offered to watch Scarlett, Aurora, Levi, Avery, Ruby, Kai and Taytum for the night while Jake and Alex went Downtown LA with friends and spend the night!
Jake and Alex had a lot of fun during their Downtown LA trip with their best friends and even with each each other in their hotel room 😉
After that Downtown LA trip, Jake has been noticing a lot of symptoms that seem like pregnancy symptoms.
Jake has been pregnant six times in the past, so he 100% knows what to look for but every pregnant is different!
Jake takes two pregnancy test, two different kinds just to be sure whether he is pregnant or not. Sometimes one test doesn't work or show a clear yes or no answer.
While he waits for the pregnancy tests results, Jake happily takes a selfie of himself, thinking this might be the first selfie being pregnant with Baby Kirk #8!

"Jakey?" Alex asks Jake as he continues to lays in be bed with Dorothy and Lucky
"Yeah, babe?" Jake says playfully to Alex as he giggles at his husband.
"What are you doing in bathroom for so long?" Alex asks to Jake causing Jake to blush and smile.
"Taking two pregnancy tests. Why?" Jake asks Alex and Alex's face lights up in excitement.
