mark & mason; a new dog!

Mark and Mason have been wanting to add a pet to their family for a while now, even before the twins were even born!

Mark and Mason thought a pet would be a very nice addition for their family, nice for the kids to grow up with a pet and plus teach all of them some responsibility!

Also, Brinley, Milo and Farryn all have been really wanting a pet, especially a dog because a lot of their friends have a dog!

But when Mark became pregnant with the twins Oaklyn and Oliver, Mark and Mason put the idea of adding a pet to the family on the back burner for a little while because they didn't think they could handle six kids, two of them being babies plus a new pet.

But the twins are getting older now, they are both on the move, almost walking actually! Farryn, Milo and Brinley are all doing very well in school and Westley is also doing extremely well adjusting as a big brother and he is officially potty trained!

Right now, Mark and Mason are running some much needed errands and Mason's little sister Lo is in town for the week to help them out! She is at the Manio-Catt house and she is babysitting Westley, Oaklyn and Oliver for them!

"Hey, Masey?" Mark says to Mason softly.

"Yeah, Marky? What's up, babe?" Mason asks Mark as he smiles at Mark and holds his hand happily.

"Umm, can we maybe go to the animal shelter today and see if we can maybe adopt a dog? I know we have been talking a lot about adopting a dog for a while now, and I think it might be the perfect time to maybe do it?" Mark asks Mason soft.

"You know what is really funny, Marky? I was just getting ready to ask you the same thing!" Mason says to Mark as he giggles and smiles at Mark.

"Oh my gosh! We are seriously twins right now and we think so much alike!" Mark says as he smiles ear to ear and softly kisses Mason's hand.

"Let's do it, babe!" Mason says as Mark cheers with lots of excitement.

"Yay! I am so so excited!" Mark says as he smiles and chuckles at Mason.

"Me too!" Mason says as he chuckles and smiles at Mark.

Mark and Mason then both drive and head to the animal shelter together!

Mark and Mason have made it to the animal shelter! Mark and Mason walk into the animal shelter together and they begin to watch all of the dogs playing together in the play area. Mark and Mason don't have any preferences for a dog but they would both like a girl dog.

Mark and Mason both see a dog happily laying in the corner and is rolling around. Mark and Mason both know that this dog is going to be theirs.

Mark and Mason then both happily walk over to the animal shelter worker, who is watching the dogs playing together!

"Excuse me, is that dog right over there being adopted or is the dog still available?" Mark asks the animal shelter worker, praying that the dog is available.

"She is still available for adoption! Would you two like to see her? She is very sweet and a loving dog!" The animal shelter worker says to Mark and Mason happily.

"Yes, please!" Mark and Mason both say in unison with big smiles on their faces at the animal shelter worker.

"Okay! I'll bring her right out! Roxie! Roxie! Come here! Come here, pretty girl!" The animal shelter says with a big cheeky smile and Roxie happily runs over to the animal shelter worker.
