alex & jake; adopting a dog!

Alex, Jake, Scarlett, Aurora, Levi, Avery and baby Ruby have all be social distancing from all of their family and friends due to the Coronavirus pandemic happening all around the world and especially in the United States!

Jake and Alex have both been extremely busy during their quarantine at their house these past two weeks!

Alex has been really busy working from home in his tiny office while Jake has been busy homeschooling Scarlett, Aurora and Levi and making sure they are keeping up with everyone whenever they go back to school for the rest of the school year!

Alex and Jake have also been busy making sure all five of their kids are entertained, fed, happy and healthy every single day! As well as making sure their three cats are happy and healthy as well!

Today, Jake and Alex are going to run some much needed errands that they have been needing to do as well as head to the animal shelter to hopefully adopt a dog!

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, all of the local animal shelters near Alex and Jake's house are closing down and all of the animals desperately need new homes!

So today, Alex and Jake have both decided that they want to adopt a dog to help the shelter out!

The older three kids - Scarlett, Aurora and Levi have all been begging Jake and Alex to get a dog these past few weeks!

A lot of Scarlett, Aurora and Levi's school friends have dogs as a pet and Scarlett, Aurora and Levi have all been wanting a dog as well!

Also, Jake and Alex both know that their cats are very good with dogs since they have babysat a few of their friend's dogs and Swifty, Underwood and Gaga all enjoyed having a dog over!

Luckily, all of Kirk kiddos godmother Jess is in California visiting with all of them with her fiancé Cliff in tow as well!

Actually, Jess and Cliff are both stuck in California for a few days, so Jake and Alex are very happy to have some adults to talk to as well during this quarantine!

Jake and Alex are both also very happy that they don't have to drag all of their five young children out to do their errands today! Jake and Alex want their kids to stay home and to safe from the Coronavirus!

Jake and Alex left their house about an hour ago and the both are them are enjoying some time out of their house and enjoying some much needed one on one time together as a couple!

Right now. Jess, Cliff, Ruby, Levi, Aurora and Scarlett are all happily hanging out at the Kirk house and they are making some fun arts and crafts while Jake and Alex have just finished getting some much needed groceries at the grocery store!

Alex and Jake are now putting all of their groceries they bought at the grocery store into the van trunk together!

"Jeez, Jakey! How many groceries did we freaking buy today?" Alex asks Jake playfully as he and Jake both giggle loudly at each other.

"Enough to feed all seven of us plus the cats for a few weeks! You never know what is going to happen, Allie! This virus thing is getting freaking scary!" Jake says to Alex as he puts the cat food and cat liter into the van as Alex giggles at him.
