alex & jake; jess gets engaged!

Today, Jess and her fiancé Cliff are coming over to visit with the Kirk's for a few hours!

Jess recently got engaged to her boyfriend of almost two years Cliff! Jake and Alex are both very excited and happy for their best friend and the godmother of their five children.

Today, Jess is going to show her engagement ring off to Jake and Alex, catch up with them and Cliff is going to meet Jake and Alex's kids Scarlett, Aurora, Levi, Avery and Ruby for the very first time!

Jess didn't want to introduce Cliff to the Kirk kids while she was dating Cliff because she didn't want to confuse any of the kids and get them attached to Cliff just in case she broke up with him. So it is the perfect time now to introduce the kids to him!

The kids, especially Scarlett and Aurora, have really been wanting Jess to find her special someone and get married and now Jess is going to get married!

Right now, Jake is sitting on the couch feeding Ruby her bottle while Alex is cleaning up the kitchen from lunch. Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery are all happily playing in the play room!

Underwood, Gaga and Swifty all sit around Jake and watch him feed Ruby her bottle. The cats are really protective of all of the kids, especially little Ruby.

The cats usually sit with Ruby while she takes her naps and they get Alex or Jake when she cries.

Jake smiles at Underwood, Gaga and Swifty as he continues to feed Ruby her bottle.

"Hi, Underwood! Hi, Gaga! Hi, Swifty! Are are three being good kitties today?" Jake asks Underwood, Gaga and Swifty with a cheeky smile.

"Meow." Underwood, Gaga and Swifty all say in unison, making Jake giggle and smile at the three of them.

"You three are such great kitties! Yes, you three are!" Jake says as he pets Underwood, Gaga and Swifty's heads one by one.

Alex walks into the living room and sees Underwood, Gaga, Swifty, Jake and Ruby all happily sitting on the couch together. Alex chuckles and kisses Jake twice, making Jake smile.

"Hi, Allie." Jake says softly to Alex with a big smile.

"Hey, Jakey! Jess and Cliff are on their way over! Jess just texted me a few minutes ago!" Alex says, causing Jake to gasp and get very excited.

"Yay! I am SOOOO excited to see Jess' engagement ring! It looks beautiful on the pictures she sent me!" Jake says to Alex.

"It does look beautiful! I can't wait for the kids to meet Cliff too!" Alex says to Jake with a cheeky grin.

"Hopefully they are all nice to him and treat him fine. I'm afraid they won't like him or be mean to him." Jake says to Alex.

"It will be an adjustment to all of them knowing Jess has a special someone in her life now, but they will love him. Don't worry." Alex says to Jake.

"Scarlett! Aurora! Levi! Avery! Come here, guys! Come here!" Jake yells, calling for Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery who are all in the playroom playing together.
