mark & mason; ultrasound & grocery shopping!

Mark and Mason are at another doctor's appointment for another ultrasound! Today is the big anatomy ultrasound. This ultrasound checks every part of the babies to make sure they are perfect and healthy.

"Are you ready for this very long ultrasound, babe?" Mark asks Mason as he giggles.

"I'm ready as I can be!" Mason says as he kisses Mark.

"This ultrasound is going to be even longer then a regular anatomy scan." Mask says as he checks his iPhone.

"We have two little ones in there! That's why." Mason says as he rubs Mark's baby bump.

"That's true. I gotta pee so bad! But I need a full bladder for this ultrasound. Ugh!" Mark says as Mason laughs loudly.

The doctor walks in with a big smile on her face. She happily shakes Mark and Mason's hands.

"Are you guys ready for the anatomy scan? I'm going to do a very in depth ultrasound on both of the twins, making sure every part is developing normally. I can also tell you guys their gender if you like." The doctor says happily.

"We are dying to know what we are having! We don't plan on telling anybody else though." Mark says and Mason nods in agreement.

"That sounds like fun! A surprise for family and friends is always exciting! Well, let's get this ultrasound started. It is going to be at least two hours, so you can listen to music, or watch YouTube videos. It doesn't matter to me!" The doctor says as she puts the ultrasound gel on Mark's bare belly.

The doctor then begins the very detailed ultrasound. Mark and Mason watch the ultrasound screen at times and then their phones. They don't wanna keep staring at the screen and get worried over anything.

After a two hour ultrasound, the anatomy scan ultrasound is finally over.

"We have two healthy babies in there! Congratulations to you both! I will see you in three weeks when you do your glucose test, Mark." The doctor says as she shakes Mark and Mason's hand.

"Sounds good!" Mason says, giving the doctor a thumbs up.

"Sounds perfect! Thank you so so much." Mark says

"My pleasure! Let me get your next appointment set up! I'll be right back!" The doctor says as she leaves the ultrasound room.

Mark and Mason sit in the ultrasound room as they wait the doctor to give them a date for their next doctor's appointment.

"Mase, are you excited about what the babies gender(s) are?" Mark asks Mason as he looks through the many ultrasound pictures of the twins.

"I'm so excited, babe. That's what I wanted. They are absolutely perfect." Mason says a with big grin.

"They sure are. And they are chunky! They are a week ahead in growth, which I'm super happy about!" Mark says happily.

"That's good! Twins can be on the smaller side, so we need them as big as you can get them to be so get ready for more ice cream." Mason says as Mark giggles.

"You're cute." Mark says as he kisses Mason.

Mark and Mason are back home from their doctor's appointment! They just told the kids what the twins are and the kids can't wait to meet their new siblings in a few months!
