Today is the BIG day!

Today, Alex and Jake's fifth child and third daughter, Ruby Raine Kirk is going to be born!

Right now, Jake and Alex are packing up all of their hospital bags and they are all getting ready to head to the hospital! Jake is having a scheduled c-section this morning.

Jake and Alex both can't wait to welcome their fifth baby girl into the world and into their family today! To Jake and Alex, baby Ruby is a miracle from Jake's grandmother who passed away two years ago suddenly.

"Hey Allie, do you have everything packed and ready to go?" Jake asks Alex as he grabs his book bag that is full of his clothes and other things he will need for the next few days in the hospital.

Alex happily nods at his husband, looking over at all of their packed bags they packed last night and this morning.

"I am 99% positive that we have everything packed and plus some extra things, baby." Alex says as he chuckles and smiles at Jake.

Jake also nervously giggles at Alex and smiles at him.

"Are you okay, babe?" Alex asks Jake as he softly rubs Jake's shoulders and tenderly kisses him.

"Yeah, I am okay! I don't know why I am so anxious. I have had four c-sections before. I guess I am just afraid of the pain afterwards." Jake says as he grabs his favorite blanket and hugs it.

Alex then rubs Jake's back softly and tenderly kisses his cheek.

"I know it will be rough for a few days, but you are a warrior, Jakey. You are so strong and we can get through this." Alex says to Jake.

Jake then smiles ear to ear and kisses Alex softly.

"Aww, you are so sweet, Allie." Jake says as he blushes at Alex.

"So are you, Jakey." Alex says as he and Jake kiss each other again.

"Well, let's go downstairs and see what the kids are doing! They are too quiet down there." Jake says to Alex, making Alex laugh and smile.

"Let's go, babe! Let's go welcome our baby girl into the world!" Alex says, making Jake's smile and get very excited.

Then, Jake and Alex both happily walk down the steps together, carrying all of their hospital bags! 

A few seconds later, Aurora and Scarlett happily walk over to Jake and Alex.

Aurora and Scarlett have both been SO excited for baby Ruby to arrive! Aurora and Scarlett have been counting down the days until baby Ruby is born!

"Daddy! Papa! Is baby Ruby coming today?" Scarlett asks Jake and Alex.

"Yeah! Is today Ruby's birthday?" Aurora asks Alex and Jake.

Alex happily nods at Scarlett and Aurora causing the girls to get excited.

"Yes, girlies! Baby Ruby is coming today!" Alex says excitedly to Scarlett and Aurora.

Aurora and Scarlett both gasp and jump up and down in lots of excitement. Aurora and Scarlett have been asking everyday when Ruby was going to be born.

"I want you girls to be very good for Auntie Jess, okay? I want you two to help her out too! She is going to need a lot of help with all of you!" Jake says to Aurora and Scarlett.
