Chapter 2

Lalisa Manoban

The night is sparkling. I'm trying to count the stars above me while the woman beside me is still looking at me longingly. Having her beside me always feels like home.

"They say that when we look at the stars.. we literally looking at the past." I said while stroking the woman's hair that is laying on my left arm.

"The light we are seeing travels hundreds of year to reach the earth so basically we are looking at the past." I diverted my gaze on the woman.

"I can see the whole universe in your eyes." She whispered making my heart jumps a little.

"I'll remember them.." she gently caress my face.

"Until I see you again."

I woke up with a banging headache. Those dreams again. Fuck! Remind me not to get wasted again. I tried to open my eyes and got up.

"Ugh! Fuck..." I mumbled as I shut my eyes tightly.

"You're awake.." An angelic voice filled up the whole room. Wait.. fuck.. did just hook up with someone last night? Shit! I don't remember.

I opened my eyes and I saw a woman standing in front of me. My vision is still blurry so I can't see her face properly. My forehead feels sore.

"Drink this.." I heard her say. I tried to squint my eyes so I can see her. A tall and slender woman with a grayish-purple hair, she's wearing a white dress and her face.. is so pretty. Wait.. am I still dreaming? She looks so unreal.

I tried to get up and I saw myself under the blanket with a yellow pajamas that has a banana print on it. Did I really hook up with her?

"Don't worry.. you puked on your clothes last night so I had to change them." So nothing happened? Damn..

"I-I'm sorry.. I was really drunk last night and I can't remember anything." I said honestly. She gave me a warm smile. Shoot! Those smile are melting me.

"It's okay. Luckily I live near where you passed out." That was really embarrassing.

"Thanks.. I should probably go." I said standing up from the bed.

"You should eat first.." I heard her say. I look at her once again. She looks so pretty just standing there. Nakakahiya naman kong tatanggihan ko 'to.

"Let's go.." She flashed a smile before walking so I just followed her.

"By the way my name is Roseanne Park. You can call me Rosé tho." She said and extended her hand for a shake.

"Lisa Manoban.." I said shaking her hand. Napansin kong may mga maleta pa sa gilid at mga furniture na hindi pa naisasabit. Aalis ba siya?

"Where is this place by the way?" I asked.

"Lego Condominium.." she answered.

"Um.. I also lived here." I said while still following her to the kitchen.

"Oh really? We're actually neighbors then." She really has this charming beauty and personality. Even though I just met her. She looks kind.

"I'm really sorry for last night. I guess I also puked on you last night.." I heard her chuckled.

"Yeah.. but it's okay. Does your forehead still hurt?" I unconsciously feel my forehead.

"Yeah it hurts a little.." I answered while sitting on the dinner table.

"I'm sorry about that.. I accidentally hit you with my guitar last night." She said. So kaya pala parang may bukol ako sa noo.

"Oh it's fine." I said. There's a lot of food on the table. Mauubos ba namin 'to? Breakfast pa ba tawag dito?
