Chapter 5

Lalisa Monoban

"Will you promise me one thing?" The woman asked while running her smooth fingers on my chest.

"Hmm.." I hummed while I wrapped my arms around her.

"Promise me that you'll remember me when we meet.." She said. I rest my elbow on the ground to face her. She's so beautiful.. her catlike eyes were so mysterious.

"What if you're the one who end up forgetting me?" I asked. One thing for sure.. my soul will always remember her.

"Kiss me.. then I shall remember." My hand gently caress her face, memorizing every part. I know my heart won't forget.

"Ms. Manoban?" I woke up when I heard a small voice talk. I blinked. Fuck! I haven't slept since last night. We end up partying until the sunrise. Umuwi lang ako para maligo at diligan yung halaman.

"Yes?" I fixed myself, nakakahiya naman.

"Atty. Amanda is here.." She said.

"Bring her in.." She bowed and went to open the door. A stunning woman came in wearing a black business suit.

"Ms. Manoban.. how are you?" She greeted while giving me a deadly smile. To be honest, I'll hook up with her if she's still single but nope.. her wife and her whole family is a close family friend.

"Atty. Amanda, I'm good. Take a seat." She gracefully sat down on the chair in front of my desk. We discussed some things and she bid her goodbye after that.

"Send my regards to Alex, I'll also text her.." I said and the lawyer nodded.

"Have a good day, Ms. Manoban.." the lawyer is gone now and I am left in my office looking at the papers on my desk. I bit my lower as I tapped my fingers on my desk then my phone rang. My lips suddenly went up when I saw who's calling.

"Hey Chipmunk! Miss me already?" I teased.

"Yah.. Lalisa, did you even sleep?" She asked. I chuckled.

"Of course! Let's have dinner later.. at my place." I said.

"Are you going to cook for us?" She really likes to eat.

"Of course not! I don't know how to cook. I'll prepare something for later don't worry." I said assuring her.

"Okay then.. take care! Don't forget to take your lunch." She's such a sweet woman.

"You too, Chaengie.. take care." I said before we hang up.

"Mina? Please come here.." I said to the intercom.

"Please cancel all my appointments for the rest of the day." I said.

"I have to go somewhere else." She scanned her note pad, maybe looking if there's something important meeting for today. It's already 1pm.

"I'll inform them Ms. Manoban.. anything else?" She asked.

"That's all, Mina.. you can also go home as soon as I left." She bowed her head before exiting the room. I fixed all the papers and went down to my car. I advised the security that I won't be needing an escort. Days have passed but I still think about that weird place.

"Lisa-yah.. is everything ready for tomorrow?" Seulgi asked on the phone. We'll spend the weekend in Batangas tomorrow as we planned.

"Yeah.. actually I'll go there right now to  personally give some documents to Mr. Lim." I said.

"Can I come? Just send me the address and I'll meet you there.." I send her the address and drive myself to the place.

"Ms. Manoban?" The old man was shocked to see me here. There are some people carry things out of the mansion.
