Before waking up, my mind got used to make sure that I didn't open my eyes not to attract attention. It felt weird not to be lying on my back.

'Did she move me?'

As I was slowly getting to realize my physical state, it hit me that I felt no pain.

'Did she give me something? Why would she give me painkillers?'

Slowly, I opened my eyes and I didn't entirely open them as I saw bright, beautiful colours. I suddenly realized where I was and couldn't help but smile.
How didn't I realize earlier? It was soft, clean. It smelled good. It was colourful and bright. My body didn't agonize.

I could move! I sat up in my bed and suddenly saw someone sleeping on the chair next to me, resting her head on the side of my bed.

She clearly was exhausted. It wasn't comfortable in that position but she still stayed. And after what I told her last night...
she surely couldn't sleep after that.

'Why did I tell her everything? Now she has to bear that heavy burden.'

I selfishly told her everything I've been through while I returned in my old body.

Why do I keep putting her in this situation? She's so innocent and I keep using her to feel better. I must stop this. I must leave her alone so that she can have a normal life...

As I was thinking that, I noticed her purple eyes on me.

"Caleb! You must be tired, go in your bed!"

She didn't move at all from the uncomfortable position and instead kept inspecting me.

"What were you thinking about just now?"

"Nothing."

She frowned. I quickly jumped out of bed and went to change my clothes.

We walked out of my room and I felt how she was angrily staring at my every move.

"What is it?"

"... whatever you were thinking there, just stop."

Scary! We walked down to be instantly blinded by the group of smiling angels waiting around the table.

It warmed my heart to see how happy Greg and Princess Caroline looked together. I remembered that in the book, Mike had killed Caleb to protect Greg which made my brother feel a lot of guilt while the princess had to sentence Kevin to death.

Even at the end, when they ended up together, the guilt weighed heavily on their relationship ant they were described as deeply in love but never fully happy.

After breakfast, Joy and Mika dragged me out of the mansion to show me around. After we welcomed the people of the West and grew the business, the villages had become more and more popular and slowly turned into cities.

They took me around to show all the changes. When the villagers recognized me, they quickly came to congratulate me with my recovery so when we turned back, we had no free hands as we carried all the fruits, vegetables, sweets and other presents from them.

Greg couldn't stop laughing at the sight.

My parents insisted for me to stay at their mansion for at least a few months before going back to my place at the countryside.

I decided to train Caleb and Joy on enhancement spells because they both lacked powerful attacks while being great in defence.

So when I was drawing the ans of the best combinations and pronouncing the spells for them, imagine my surprise when a blinding light came out of my hand and cut the table in half.

"Huh?"
