"The King is dying!"

The news would change our lives forever.

While King Ragnor was talking to his older son in his prison cell, the young prince stabbed his heart with a dagger poisoned with Elysanthem.

A spy of King Wisingham, disguised as a guard, had given the dangerous weapon to him, used to kill his own father.

His father was considered the best King of the Empire of Lyor, serving his duties with strictness and compassion. But he had made one mistake: forgiving his beloved son, not giving him a death sentence for treason and paying him regular visits.

The king was powerful, a dagger could be easily stopped by his light magic, the only light magic of level 5 in the entire Empire. But he didn't expect his most treasured child to stab his heart. Or, some say, that at the sight of his son pointing a dagger towards him, he lost his will to live.

The news first arrived at the residence of Leonhearts, the Princess having to take her father's place with Greg by her side. At this point, the book was already over.

I thought that after a happy ending as a conclusion of where the book had ended, only happiness waited for us.

I didn't expect... a war.

This is the end of the second part.
