You finally got to the location, and were guided to Lizzie's trailer behind the building where the event is. You are re-checking all the stuff that you need to bring from the trailer to the building. After what happened at the hotel, both of you and Lizzie don't talk to each other unless it's needed but she slowly looks less moody than she was in the car. You were looking for the extra pair of Lizzie's shoes that you prepared together with her other stuff just in case she needs it but it's nowhere to be found.

Lizzie is sitting on the comfy couch that the trailer has and notices your puzzled face as you dig into things. "What are you looking for?" Your eyes search in any direction of the trailer with both hands on your waist and you turn your head to her. "Oh, uh your extra pair of shoes just in case you need it."

"Oh, I took it out from there, I don't need it." She said casually followed by a shrug on her shoulder and took a sip from her bottled water. "I know you don't need it, but I think it won't hurt if we bring--" Lizzie cuts you off before you are able to finish your sentence. "Y/n, I DON'T need it, okay? So now can we please go, I don't want to be late. " She rolled her eyes then got up and got ready to leave the trailer to go to the studio. "Okay, if you say so." You held up your palms.

The distance from the trailer to the building is a good fifteen minutes walk. As soon as both of you get there, Lizzie gets her hair and make up done. After everything is ready you both walk in a hurry to the back stage, all of a sudden Lizzie trips on her steps. It happened so fast, you heard a squeal from her and you turned to her on your left side. Fortunately, you have pretty good reflexes and manage to catch her before she falls to the ground. "Whoa! Are you okay?" You both look at each other for a brief second then you help her to stand back up. "Yeah, I'm okay. Uh- I- um- thank you." She cleared her throat as she's back on her feet and fixed her hair then two of you continued to walk but she stopped right away.

"Uh-Oh." She mumbled but it's loud enough for you to hear so you stopped and looked at her. "What do you mean with Uh-Oh? Are you okay?" You raised both of your eyebrows, puzzled and waiting for an answer. "Yeah I am, but my shoe isn't." She showed one of her high heels. The thing with small chances to happen which was the reason you wanted to bring an extra pair of her shoes actually happened. One of her heels broke.

As soon as you saw it, you lowered your head and let out an exasperated sigh. "Of course. Of course it broke when I didn't bring the extra pair of shoes." You laughed in bitterness. Lizzie knows she's wrong yet again and should've listened to you. "This is why I wanted to bring your extra shoes."

"I know! I know! But can't we just go back to the trailer to get my other shoes?" There was slight agreement and guilt in her tone that she tried to hide it. "We don't have time. It's almost your time to be on stage, we need to go now." You run your fingers through your hair while thinking of a solution.

"Then let me wear your shoes." Lizzie came up with an idea shortly.

"I'm sorry, what?" You heard what she said but you asked again because you hope she didn't say what she just said. "You heard me, let me wear your shoes." She said nonchalantly and shrugged her shoulders.

"Then what about me? Barefoot? NO! NO! NO! Do you know how dirty the floor and the ground is? Heck, I don't even walk barefoot in my own house. The answer is NO." You rambled with huge disagreement and shook your head frantically. Then you heard someone talking to you through the walkie-talkie asking where you both are because it's almost Lizzie's time to be on stage. "Yes, we are walking there now." You answered through the walkie-talkie.

"One, I can't be on camera or the stage with no shoes. Two, if you want us to get to the back of the stage now, that's the only solution right now since you said we don't have time to go back. When I'm done, I'll give your shoes back and I-uh-I walk barefoot back to the trailer." Knowing this hassle was all her fault, she tried to take the consequences (even if it means walking barefoot later) as her way to apologize to you without actually saying the actual apology.
