-Goddess-

Main Event was packed as hell and I still couldn't spot Nicotine's tall self. A kid bumped into me, and I clutched my concealed gun in the pocket of my pants. I steadied him and gave him a smirk. "Watch out little buddy." He scampered off, unaffected by my presence and I went back to looking around for my partner in crime.

"Uhhh, baby lemme feel on you," someone grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into their warmth. I flipped around and slid my hands towards my weapon. I rolled my eyes and damn near growled when I saw it was just Nico. "Quit playin wimme," I bucked at her. She smirked down at me and I kicked her leg. "Quit treating me like I'm small," I argued. "Five fo is a good height!"

"Mhmm," Nico agreed, laughing.

She revealed some Fun cards out of her pockets. "I already paid, c'mon." I went around the line and we snuck off out of sight.

Someone standing by an entrance into the play area stopped us. Nicotine frowned. "She hadn't been here earlier," she mumbled. We tried to turn around but the lady was walking towards us.

"I saw y'all sneak in. Gimme a good reason why I should let y'all in even though ion give a crap about this job," the girl asked us. She was 5'5 with her eyes covered by the shadow from her visor. She was a little lanky and as I observed her closer, slightly masculine.

"My friend Korruh work here. She gave us cards and we just wanna relax a bit. I got some cash-

"Nico?" the girl snatched her visor off and I realized it was Legend with bloodshot eyes. "Shit, I was too gone to realize it was you." Her eyes drifted to me and her demeanor relaxed more so into reluctance, or maybe shyness. My presence made people feel that way, I thought smugly.

Except that kid, I frowned.

Legend let us through and walked alongside us, putting her visor back on. "My bad yo, I been tired," she said. "You good. I been tired too, that's why we wanted to relax today," I admitted, suddenly remembering I was supposed to slap Nico. I wanted to wait for the right moment, I thought with a smirk.

"I wish you could hang out but I know you working," Nicotine gestured to the establishment.

Legend agreed, "It's cool doh. Y'all have a great time," she started to walk towards a little kid with his hand stuck under a bowling ball. "I gotta go."
She jogged off and I glanced around us.

"Arcade games?" I asked.

Nicotine nodded with a grin.

"Race ya," I tapped her shoulder and bolted off towards the arcade games, dodging around people left and right. In my mind, I had super speed because I was the Devil, and everyone could only see a blur of a being.

I felt myself trip and saw Nico zoom past me. I was immediately crushed emotionally and felt oddly betrayed. I got up, trying to maintain some of my dignity and met Nico in front of a dancing game. No one was in line and she was swiping her card. I pulled my hand back and slapped her hard. I was furious about the whole running situation, and now furious again about the whole "Goddess" thing.

Nico touched her cheek, eyes angry. "The fuck that was for, Devil?"

A woman and her child looked at us curiously, moving away. "You called me Goddess earlier," I said, "but... it was my idea for us to go to Main Event so you can't be mad right now," I smirked. Seeing my smirk, Nico's mood lightened, but not completely. "Quit doing that shit, wit yo crazy ass. One day ima bust you upside the head, Devil."
