"You said it's one of the trickiest spells known to your kind and yet you're still doing it?!" Usopp exclaimed.
On the deck, (Y/n) sat cross-legged with a ripe apple in front of her. Her hands hovered right above it, and her brows furrowed with concentration.
"Despite its reputation, it's still quite a handy spell to have. Mastering it will be quite difficult though, but I'm ready to take on that challenge!" She replied coolly.
"If I may, (Y/n)-san," Brook began, sitting by the mast behind her. "Is that spell simply for creating a clone, or does it cause something more that developed its reputation?"
"You always ask the right questions, Brook," She grinned, though she didn't turn to him. "This spell creates a clone that reveals the true form of an object I casted the spell with, while inner desires and true feelings if I cast it on a person."
"You can cast it on someone?" Usopp mused. She nodded, "However, I need to make sure the spell works and observe how long it takes for the effect to fade away before I can try it on someone."
"That's why you're using it on the apple first," Brook guessed.
"If we can cast it on the apple though," (Y/n) sighed. "The spell itself is slippery to use. I have to shove it in the target as soon as I cast it."
Nami came out of the girls' room carrying a thin plastic bag of trash, not bothering to stop by the three on the deck. While passing by, something small and sharp tore through the plastic and silently dropped right by the apple.
Stretching out her limbs and neck, she then hovered both of her hands right over it, closing her eyes while Usopp backed away at a safe distance beside Brook.
Klon!
Her palms glowed a bright hue, and a swirling orange mist materialized out of it. It suddenly moved, making (Y/n) open her eyes and force it in her hold. It was tugging her around, and she tried to aim it at the apple but when she released it, she was pushed back by the force, making her miss the apple and it shot toward the floor. It was then reflected back by the mirror shard beside the apple, thus hitting (Y/n) instead before she could even see what happened.
When she got hit, an orange cloud of mist appeared, shocking the two witnessing men and had to cover their eyes. When it quickly faded away, they saw that she passed out.
"(Y/n)!" Usopp and Brook hurriedly rushed to her side. "Oi (Y/n), wake up, hey!"
While waking her, they heard a low groan, turning their heads to the side and seeing another person just a few meters away from them.
"D-Don't tell me—" Brook gasped.
The mysterious person slowly sat up, their back facing them. Usopp noted how the person had similar features with (Y/n)'s, until said person turned around and shocked them both.
It was (Y/n), but a male version of her.
He had the same clothes as her but were as if sewn for a man, the same hair and skin color, and his eyes twinkled with mischievousness instead of the innocence that her's always do.
Man (Y/n) tilted his head in thought, before he beamed and said something so random it caught both guys off guard.
"Usopp, I like your curly hair, it looks so fluffy that I wanna hold it. You look so handsome with it tied into a ponytail. You should take off the hat sometimes."
"Eh?" was all Usopp could mutter.
He then turned to Brook, "I wanted you to teach me how to play the guitar but I'm too shy to ask. Does your soul get all the food and water you consume? I'm genuinely curious about it."
