I can't thank everyone enough for making this book reaching 100k reads💖 I am absolutely grateful and honored to have brought you oneshots that are worth your interests 🥹 This book was initially created out of my procrastination issues so I wasn't expecting this much love over it. Now, it is a way to constantly practice my writing skills and share it all with you who love Luffy as much as I do.

For this oneshot, I decided to try a new approach, which is writing in present tense, as how most fanfics I've encountered lately tend to be. I'm writing this note after having just finished this chapter, and....I think I'll stick to past tense style lols.

There's a follow-up party for the victory vs Kaidou on the Thousand Sunny, exclusively for the Straw Hats. At first, Nami discouraged the plan in consideration for the crew's dwindling funds, but was swayed when Luffy told her he wanted it to be a celebration for Jimbei's recruitment too.

"CHEERS!" Everyone yelled, their glasses raised in the air.

And now, the party is in full swing, with good food and drinks laid out on a long table. The boys bring out the strong drinks that were hidden in the pantry exclusively for special celebrations, wasting no time into draining the barrels out.

As you sit with the ladies while enjoying your drink, you soon overhear Franky laugh. "Oh! Looks like Luffy-bro's at his limit now."

True enough, Luffy was swaying in his feet and laughing loudly to himself for no reason. The beer mug that he was holding tips over and spills his drink on the grass.

"Oi Luffy! You're wasting it!" Zoro snatches the mug from his hands.

"And whose bright idea was to give him liquor anyway??" Usopp retorts as he pulls Luffy towards him before he walks away. "Hey Luffy, you should take a seat, you had way too much."

You unknowingly stare at him for a long while, noticing his flushed cheeks and his drooping eyes. When he meets your gaze, you quickly turn away with a blushing face.

'OH MY GOODNESS, HE LOOKS SO HOT!'

You have never seen Luffy looking like that before. In fact, it was a rare sight considering Luffy doesn't really have too much alcohol because of his weak resistance.

You feel ashamed for feeling so flustered over him looking like that, but you can't be blamed. Luffy's face always has this bright, kind and innocent type of handsome (ironically for a newly appointed Pirate Emperor to bear so), not the hot kind of handsome.

Nami giggles knowingly. "Something the matter, (Y/n)?"

"W-What? Ah, nothing!" You fake a calm smile.

"Fufufu, your heartbeat's so fast right now that I don't need to use Chopper's stethoscope," Robin teases, and that's when you notice a bloomed arm holding over your wrist.

You yank it off, "Come on, I swear I'm fine. I just thought I saw something scary but turns out it was just my imagination."

"Pray tell, what was it then?" Robin inquires, continuing to tease you much to Nami's enjoyment. As much as you could lie smoothly when something matters, it was not the case when it comes to romance.

You open your mouth to answer, when a stretched hand suddenly grabs your shoulder, tugging it.

"(Y/N~!!)," Luffy slurs, clumsily walking as he makes your way to you while Usopp tries to stop him.
